        I was riding home and realized Siyn was about to meet Tony. Which  scared the crap outta me. I hope he dont kill that man. He can be really chill or really crazy when he wants to be. I was about a mile from my house when i got a call from my moms. "Hey mommy. Whats up?" I asked. Can you go to the store for me?" She asked.  " What you want me to pick up? ' I asked now frustrated knowing that means less time to cook all this food on my mental menu. "Some stuff for apple crumble pie." i knew it was for Siyn and part of me wanted to be mean saying no but i decided against it. "Yea ma ill pick it up." I said parking at the store and getting out. As i was tryin tp get flour off the top shelf that some retarded stacked to high for my short ass" Here let me get that for you." "Thanks!" I said turning around to see a beautiful specimen that i knew was sent from hell cause he was a sin if i ever seen one. "No problem. Its my pleasure sweetheart" He said as he walked off. I smiled for the rest of my shopping. Today just might have gotten alright! I payed for everything and went on home to start dinner. It took me over 2 hours to cook every thing i was seeing in my head to make. I love to cook its my therapy. My moms says i should make it a career and for a while ive been contemplating it . After high school college has so many choices. As i was finishing  up the main courses and the desserts in walked Cookie and Siyn. Behind them came my so called sister bestie Kia and her new beau Tony why i wasn't surprised i dont know. 
i was expecting Kia and Cookie to help me finish with the food. Well Kia mostly cause we all know Cookie aint helping me. But surprisingly Cookie was the only one to offer to help. Siyn snuck a apple off my damn pie before exiting the kitchen "Aye Tony come with me"He said while walking out to the family room. As they left Kia took a seat at the kitchen tale and pulled out her phone. "So you really not gonna tell me whats wrong?" Cookie asked as she peeled sweet potatoes for the pie she was making. "I told you Im fine there is nothing wrong with me..... you should be asking Kia that she the one looking all vexed." I told her while looking right at Kia who was now looking up from her phone. She he rolled her eyes "Im good just don't feel like spending my date night with a hypocrite and my family thats all." she smiled looking back at her phone. "WOW! Really you swore on your life youd never  bring that up again. You aint right Key! You need to apologize forreal!" Cookie told her waving her finger like she was gonna swing soon. Kia looked up and sighed "So serious i really didnt mean anything i said. Im a little stressed i should have never said any of that to you sissy. I apologize. Whats volt is volt i had no right to take it out and bring it up. You forgive me?" She  asked as she got up  and cam in the kitchen. "Depends you gonna help me with this potato salad?" i asked her handing her the celery. " Of course i am Ice." She started cutting stalks.  "Then you got my forgiveness boo." i said stirring my home made whip cream for all the desserts. "Yall done yet?" my moms cousin Danny came in the kitchen 30 minutes later to ask."Yea we done, get everybody to wash up and get seated......I swear that nigga fat as hell in the inside always asking for something to eat!" I told Kia and cookie after he left to go get ready for dinner. All he needed was the okay and his ass was the first to the table. We started to bring out all the food and covering the desserts cause they would stay in the kitchen until everyone was done with their meal. My moms sat at the head of the table and of course she made all the seating arrangements. 

        We all knew our place at the table and followed accordingly. Me next to my mom, Kia and siyn next to me then Cookie on the other side of Siyn. My uncle Ran at the other head and a seat next to him for Kaam the rest of the seats were a free for all. Mainly because everyone else weren't always at dinner so their seats were free game. Moms picked Siyn to bless the food with our special prayer on thanks, blessings, and family. "Thanks is not just for the things we have but also for the people we are blessed with. We are also blessed with every moment we have to make any mistake that we have made correct. We are also blessed with the chance to learn something new everyday. For all those things thankfulness is defined and summed up to being Family, Growth, and Love. This is our motto and the way we have made it through the struggle." It sounded so  powerful when he spoke it. It went down without a hitch i was so proud of him. "AMEN" We all said in unison as we started passin around plates. "You did very well baby. everything spells delightful. So pleased with what you made. Now pass me that eggplant cause you know that's all i want." My moms said while reaching for her favorite food that i made specially for her. My uncles started debating about who was more popular in elementary and jonnin on each others style which had us cracking up. When i heard a door and i knew my sister was here. Three hours late but hey she showed up like she promised. "Hey good people!! Man ma it smells so good in here!!!" She said coming in the dinning room kissing the family till she reached momma. then she gave her a giant kiss and hugged her like she lost her breath. It was so cute when they got together. My sister is 29 and a very bad vistor. We see her every once and a full blue moon but she loves us i know that for sure. "Gosh baby its so good of you to come! Come on sit down and get you a plate of what your sister made." My momma said while rubbing my sisters cheeks and holding her hand. Kaam looked nervous and i could tell she was about to drop a bomb.  "Wait momma i gotta go to get my guest...... My husband!"  Kaam said while holding up a huge ring on her wedding finger. I felt my mouth drop and i could see my moms knees buckle she sat fast as hell. Without thinking i jumped up  "WHAT!!!! You got married without us?"  She looked my way and i automatically got hurt who was this woman? Cause my sister and i had no secrets she knew everything and i thought i did too."It was spare of the moment but i would never have a ceremony without my maid of honor."  She said coming over and hugging me. I still couldn't  figure out why she wouldn't tell me it made me uneasy but for now ill let it go. "Let me go get em" She ran out the door im guessing to the car. "When you think she got married?" Kia whispered to me as i sat back down. "I dont know but she shoulda told us." I said as i started  back eating trying to take my mind off all this craziness.  " she been gone 8 months and now she's married. Help me Qiyya." My moms said a prayer to Kia and them moms the only person she talked to out loud who wasn't around. She said it kept her grounded. we all started giggling when in walked  my sister and her new husband. From first sight i thought he looked like an older version of Siyn. Not bad looking just MUCH OLDER than Kaam like my moms age or older and my moms 49. "Mom this is my husband..." She started to say as everybody looked up. I could see all my uncles and aunts tents up as well as Siyn. My mom just  stood up. " LIke hell it is! Puda get the fuck away from my daughter!!!" For the record its very rare my moms curses in front of me so i knew it  was very serious. He who im guessing name is Puda who the hell named him that i cant understand. Gave off a look of utter shock like he walked into the wrong room. He let go of my sisters hand so fast i thought she had  ebola.  "O shit Naiyma i didn't know." Puda said as fast as he could wile my mom moved from her seat and started towards them. "Momma how do you know my husband?" Kaam asked confused "Stop calling this bastard that!" My moms said while grabbing her arm and pulling her away from him. I was so confused and i could tell all the other young people at the table was too.  "He is our father." Siyn said looking all shocked and embarrassed. I was like O HELL NAW!!! I looked at key and she was pissed. Thats why Siyn and him look alike makes sense. "What!! no he isnt!!" Kia and Cookie said together but i knew like me they could see the resemblance. "Yes he is babies." Momma said in a sad tone while looking at us all. My uncle Ran sucked his teeth looking at Puda like he was disgusted by his presents. Siyn got up with his plate and dipped back into the kitchen. I followed him with my eyes.
