Ding dong...
The store bell rung as Moonbyul walked inside the small mart, looking around for the fridge.
"Missed something for the cake? How forgetful are you?"
"Shut up, Yuki..."
The store worker, Mori Koyuki, laughed. Due to Moonbyul visiting the store often, the two have become somewhat good friends, with Yuki in particular liking to tease Byul. After meeting the twins, Moonbyul can't help being reminded of them while talking to Yuki.
"You really need to learn on how to manage your shopping more wisely."
"Alright, alright. Where's the buttermilk?"
"Buttermilk? What do you think this is, a gourmet supermarket? Hah!" Yuki chuckled amusingly.
"I know you used to sell them." Moonbyul crossed her arms.
"Used to, Moonbyul-san. Used to." Yuki smiled.
"Don't you have any spares?"
"Nope. Sorry, can't do much for you."
Moonbyul sighed. Guess she'll have to settle for regular milk...
"Sure you don't want any snacks?"
"No. Thanks again Yuki."
"No problem."
Moonbyul then walked outside, the bell ringing once more. She was going to walk back to her apartment, when she heard the noise of a truck whirr by her.
Curious, she looked up...and saw the figure of a girl standing on top of the truck.
"What in the... Moonbyul squinted her eyes as the truck sped by. Following suit was another smaller van. A couple seconds later, a projectile was flying through the street, hitting the smaller van and exploding it.
Confused, Moonbyul ran off along the street, trying to catch up with the bigger truck.
The truck stopped beside her. The window rolled down, revealing Jin as the driver.
"Jin!?"
"Uh...hi?"
"What the hell's goin on!? I just saw a van behind you explode!"
"It's-ugh, don't worry about it. Come on in and I'll tell you."
"But what if your truck explodes too!?"
"Just come in!"
Rolling her eyes, Moonbyul opened the door to the passenger seat and sat next to Jin. Behind her, Yeji was typing something furiously on a computer, while Hyunjin and Dami were standing near the windows with guns in their hands.
"My God..."
Yeji looked up to see Moonbyul and waved at her.
"Look, this is kinda really confusing, it might take a while to explain." Jin spoke again. "Er-put on your seatbelt. This'll be a rough ride."
The truck was driving down another corner again. Moonbyul turned behind her again, and it seemed that they were still being chased.
"Wait, where's Lia-"
And just as she said that, another explosion went off, as well as a small rumble coming from the roof of the truck.
"There's your answer." Jin smirked.
Moonbyul sank into her chair. So Jin's own cousin was on the top of this truck, shooting, what, bombs at vans? She didn't even know why that sentence would exist, but considering the fact that her best friend had once experienced getting kidnapped by a lovesick co-worker and her equally crazy pals (save for one girl who ended up wanting to explode herself), that sentence wasn't really as crazy as Moonbyul thought it was.
