chApter 3💃🏻

          you woke up around 8:30 with Karls arm around you, you weren't gonna move because he was a light sleeper. it would wake him up. so you sat on your phone, scrolling through instagram and twitter. you decided to text Niki (Nihachu) because you were good friends and she knew about your crush in Karl, therefore you could rant to her.

you: heyy i have tea

niki: about what?

you: Karl, duh what else do i talk about

niki: true, anyways whats up what did he do this time?

you: um well he fell asleep on my bed.. while i was reading to him last night- and now he has his arms around me and he's sound asleep.

niki: omg are you serious

you: *insert picture of you and Karl lmao* idk what to do.. hes a super light sleeper if i get up he will wake up

niki: well the fact that he fell asleep with you in the first place.. he definitely has a thing for you

you: no way he does, i mean things like this happen all the time he probably just thinks its a friend way

niki: well i have a gut feeling that he likes you- ya know like more than a friend. i could probably find out for you?

you: as much as i have a hugeee crush on him, i feel like even if he did like me it could mess up our relationship ya know? i guess it would be nice to know tho..

niki: exactlyyy you dont have to make a move or anything, just to know. i will text alex (quackity) and see if i can find out

you: alright.. get back to me

          you closed out your messages with niki with a smile on your face, and when you put your phone down you saw that Karl had woken up and he was staring tiredly right at you
"oh hi.. when did you wake up" you said to him, he didn't move or anything. his arms still around you.
"uhmmm about like 5 minutes ago i think" he said to you
"oh well you could have gotten up or something" you said nervously, he took it the wrong way and immediately started to move off of you
"oh no i didn't mean it like that- your good you can stay" as soon as you said that you kinda regretted it.
"oh, really? okay. i was pretty comfy" he looked right into your eyes as he said that. his eyes were such a beautiful blue-greyish color. he started to situate himself back to the position he was in. you were laying in your back and he had his arms around your stomach with his head on your upper-stomach(NOT YOUR TITS LMAO)
"can you keep reading to me?" he said to you
"of course" you reached for your book and started to read"

          Most of your morning was spent reading until Karl mentioned that he was a little hungry. you both got up and you went into the kitchen.
"pancakes?" you questioned
"thats a great idea" he said, he looked at you and smiled. you grabbed the pancake mix from the cupboard. your pour it into a bowl and ask Karl to get the water. you both finished making the pancakes and sat at the table and started eating
"do you wanna do minecraft vr? it wont be a stream ik you don't like being on stream but its super fun" karl said
"um i have never done that before but sure, when?"
"later tonight" he questioned
"sure but what do you wanna do the rest of the day, i have class tomorrow morning so i shouldn't stay up too late either" you said
"ummm we could go on a walk? or something else i dunno" he said
"a walk sounds fun, we can go to the park down the block?" you said, almost done with breakfast. Karl agreed and once you both finished eating you started to get ready, you knew that it was pretty cold but you only put on a tshirt and jeans, aka what you wear everyday. Karl came downstairs in in a sweater and sorta baggy jeans
"ready to go?" he asked as he was putting his shoes on
"you know it" you said and you both walked out the door

once you were at the park you started feeling a bit cold, karl caught on to that pretty quick
"are you cold?" he asked
"a little, i should have brought a hoodie" you said nervously
"here" he started taking off his sweater
"no its fine i dont want you to be cold"
"im wearing a long sleeve i will be fine" he continued taking off his sweater and then handed it to you and you put it on, it was kinda big on you but it was cozy
"thanks" just as you said that you felt your phone buzz. you looked and it was niki

niki: i got info for ya

you: alrightyy

niki: well, alex said that Karl talks about you alot and that he has mentioned that he does in fact have a crush on you

you: omg no way

niki: yes way i knew he liked you

you: well guess what

niki: what??

you: we went on a walk and i got cold so he legit gave me his sweater- which like ik thats just kinda a nice gesture but im happy about it

niki: aww well i will text you later, might try to get more info for ya <3

you: thank you<3

you put your phone back in your pocket and all of a sudden karl grabbed your had and pulled you over to a swing set
"what are you doing" you said laughing
"c'mon lets swing, why else would i pull you ti a swing set" he said and you both started swinging and having a great time, you both got some dirty looks by old folks as well as some youngins but you didn't care because you were having so much fun.

eventually the fun came to a stop when it started getting later.. and darker. you lived on a pretty sketchy street so being out after dark could be dangerous.

"we should get out of here" you said it was obvious that you were terrified but then karl but his arm around you and you felt safer, until some raggedy man started running at you both
"oh shit" Karl said, he grabbed your hand and you both started running towards your house, luckily it wasn't too far but the man was gaining on you. you both finally got to your house and got inside. karl out his arms around you in a hug and didn't let go for a minute
"that was scary" he said
"yeah it really was, can we skip vr tonight, maybe do it tomorrow" you said,
"yeah, but im hungry what are ya making me?" karl said laughing
"depends what you want"
"7 course meal" he said still laughing
"mac and cheese, take it or leave it" you said
"ill take what i can get" he kissed your forehead and then his face got super red once he realized what he did, you smiled at him and walked out to the kitchen.

after you both finished eating you went upstairs to go to bed, as you were starting to lay down Karl knocked on your door
"come in" you said,
"can i sleep with you again?" he said quickly and very quiet,
"uh, yeah if you want" you said smiling, he walked over to you and laid on your bed the same way he was that morning and you both fell asleep not long after.
