natalia pov

"wake up!" my friend ayiana shook my shoulder. "huh? what? whats happening?" i say shooting up out of my slumber.

"its lunch time." she chuckles. "oh i wanna find kairi!" i say. "do you like kairi?" she asks. "oh no, i mean he's cute." we leave the classroom with our book bags on our backs.

we talk and talk and grab our lunches but when i look around the lunch room a tall figure stands in front of me blocking me from finding kairi. i look up seeing mattia.

i roll my eyes and groan. whats with this kid and why does he want me? most girls in north jersey want him.

"what do you want this time?" i huff. "natalia!" i hear from a voice behind me. "get lost loser, she doesn't want your weird ass face!" mattia says.

i turn around seeing kairi, his smile was gone and i could tell he wasn't in the best mood. i turn back around to mattia kicking him straight in his balls.

that should hurt.

i hear oo's and ouches from the whole cafeteria. i guess people were watching mattia trying to flirt with the new girl.

i look at kairi and see ayiana with him making me smile.

they'd make a cute couple.

i run up to them making sure to not drop my lunch. kairi smiles wide and hugs me tight, it was really comforting.

"thank you." he says. "it wasn't just for you, he's been up my ass with his whole fuck boy persona." i roll my eyes in annoyance. "i love you already." ayiana smiles.

"you hate him too?" i chuckle. "who doesn't!" she yells making us all laugh. "let's eat over there." kairi says pointing to the corner.

"no way, let's eat right there." i say pointing to the table alessya was eating at.

she's in my second period and we talked during that class. she's super fun and i'm surprised she's even dating her boyfriend.

"but i don't ever eat there." kairi stammers. i see  alessya waving at me to come sit with her. i look back at kairi sternly and he pouts.

i drag his arm and ayiana follows us to the table. i like our little friend group, it was fun and we had most of our classes together.

"hey natalia." she watches us sit down and the other at the table stared at us like we were crazy. "hey alessya." i smile placing down my food.

"this is vinnie, mariano but he goes by mar, rave, and lucci." alessya introduces us to her friends. i could see that kairi was nervous, he probably didn't talk to many people.

"and this is her boyfriend, alejandro." alejandro kisses her cheek while sitting in the seat next to her. alejandro seemed pretty nice besides the fact he was friends with mattia.

i grab onto kairi's hand noticing him panic. "so you two?" vinnie asks looking at our intertwined hands. "oh uh no, she's just being a good friend." kairi says.

"are you single?" vinnie asks me. "i'm in a relationship actually." i smile, i was actually really single but i wasn't looking for a relationship. "who is this lucky guy?" he watches me remove my hand from kairi's.

i grab the guy's behind me hands and sit him down next to me. of course! it just had to be mattia. i mentally groan and lean my head on his shoulder.
