"tell me about mattia." alessya says sitting down in the seat next to ayiana. "what about mattia?" i ask. "don't be dumb." she says.

"yeah you and mattia have been pretty close all day." ayiana says.

i really don't know if she likes mattia or not. and i don't know if i should tell them yet because mattia and i decided we were going to tell marcus and alex first.

"mattia and i don't have anything going on. we became friends yesterday and now he thinks he has a chance with me." i say.

"i thought you didn't like him." alessya scrunches her eyebrows together. "i don't like him in that way, he's a weird kid with a big ego." i smack on my ice cream.

that's one attractive weird kid.

"alright we get it you don't like him." ayiana says making us all laugh.

we go on rambling about things.

my mind get over how ayiana talks about mattia. she has this certain look she makes whenever we bring him up. her face lights up, pink spreads across her cheeks, and she tries so hard to get rid of her smile.

i thought she didn't like him at all. on monday she literally said he was the biggest jerk she had ever met, but then she pretended to act like his girlfriend?

i'll let the girl believe she has a chance.

now i'm currently stuck in mattia's house. i pull out my phone getting a facetime from kairi. i hit the accept button and watch his face cover my phone.

his face had gotten better since the incident on wednesday. he still had a bruise on his stomach and his chest was still hurting from what he told me. overall he was the best boy i knew.

he still was his normal cute shy boy that would make sure i was happy no matter what. 

i need to pick a fucking boy. i don't want to hurt either of them.

"hi pretty girl." he smiled. "hi pretty boy." i smile back. "how's your day been so far?" he asked. "it's been pretty okay, school's a pain but you made my day a bit better." i say.

mattia's smirk and kairi's smile. wow.

"i'm glad i was able to do that, hey um uh.." he sounded nervous.

i stayed silent as he finally got the courage to say what he was going to say.

"are we still on for next friday?" he asks. "of course, and the ball. are we still on for that?" i ask. "i'm all yours." i could see his smile of relief. "oh don't forget tonight!" he said.

we have a party tonight. he wants me to go with him. i'm excited.

"who's this boy!" i heard mattia's mom shout, running up to me. kairi chuckled as mattia's mom came into the frame.

"you look like a good man, just don't get her pregnant. i'll see you on sunday young man." she smiles waving goodbye to him.

"bye miss!" he waved back to her.

as she got out of the frame she gave me a thumbs up from behind my phone. i smiled wide at her acceptance.

i love her, she's the best woman i know.

"is that mattia's mom?" he asks. "uh yeah, our families are actually close and i'm staying with them for awhile." i say.

"that's coo-" he was going to finish his sentence when a loud sound came from his end of the phone. "kairi where is my-." they stopped speaking because they saw that he was on facetime.
