it's been two months since the night of the ball. it's been pretty hectic. i've missed mattia a lot.

we weren't able to go on our date. we weren't even able to see each other hardly. the only times i ever see him are through cell phone.

we've only seen each other once since the ball and it was a saturday from two weeks ago. he drove up to new york with alessya, alejandro, alex, and marcus.

ever since kairi walked out of the ballroom there's been no communication through us. he hides when i'm on facetime with ayiana or any of our friends.

i have a month left here in new york. it's actually quite calming here, the rain, the cloudy skies, and the girl and guy i let into my dorm through my window.

the girl i met here is honestly the best person i've met in awhile. her names madison.

the guy.. he's definitely something.

he's been there for me when i needed a good cry. we didn't have any special relationship, we were just kind of friends.

his names jacob. he's made me realize a lot. he's also madison's brother.

"you are such a loser." madison chuckled. "i'm sorry i don't take 3 showers a day!" i answer fiercely.

i'm only with madison most of the time because she goes to my school. my all-girls boarding school. i let jacob in through my window or he walks into my room when he vists madison once a week.

"that's why you always stink." she says. "shut up, we smell the exact same." i say. "nope, i brought perfume." she smiles innocently but devilishly.

"whatever." i roll my eyes going on my phone. "waiting for my brother to text you?" her face expression is just a line across her face.

"you know about mattia." i say. "yeah, i think it's about time jacob knows about him too." she sighs. "you know he'd freak, i mean i can't even imagine the fit he would throw if he knew." i say.

"he knew what?" jacob plops down on the end of the bed near madison's feet. "nothing, madison's just telling one of her super hilarious jokes again." i say with sarcasm laced in my voice.

"poor you." he rolls his eyes, scooting madison and i over to fit in the middle of us. "how's dad?" madison asks. "he's been.. uh better." he pauses to think about their dad, jasper.

i feel a sudden buzzing coming from my phone causing me to pick it up. i see mattia's name come across my phone with a green and red button.

i sit up and answer with a smile on my face, "hi tia." i say. "hi nat. i'm in the hospital." my face drops as i get up from the bed. "what? what happened? tell me everything. are you okay?" i ask worried sick.

"baby it's okay, i'm okay. i was just trying to learn how to drive for you and i crashed into a tree. i only broke my arm." he said.

gosh, it was amazing hearing his voice.

"holy shit mattia. i can drive us places, don't ever do something that dumb again." i say. "i just wanted to learn how to drive for you once we go on our date." he sighed.

"you're adorable." i smiled chuckling. "i'll be more careful next time, also i have huge news." i could feel the excitement through the phone.

"tell me!" i said. "since my dad isn't getting married to your mom i can see you tomorrow, and maybe you'll be able to come home." i scream so loud.

jacob and madison stare at me like i'm crazy.

"babe i love you, i love you, i love you." i drone off into my phone. "i love you too. i have to go my doctor is walking in." he chuckles. "facetime me later?" i ask.
