Jacob: Don't sweat it, just make sure to take care of your mom and yourself.
Me: I will. I'll see you guys.
Kevin: Bye bye!
I went to my front door, and unlocked it with my key. I see my mom on the couch, sitting.
Me: Mom! Why aren't you in bed?
Mom: I was worried about you, love. I just wanted to make sure you were okay.
Me: Mommy, I'm always fine, you don't have to worry. You should've slept, mom, I would've been just fine.
Mom: I know, love, I love now, but you have to rest too. You're only thirteen, you need to live your life, not overwork yourself.
Me: Mom, I'm not overworked, trust me. I'm okay with everything, I have everything under control. Money may be a little tight right now, but I'll take care of everything, mommy, don't worry yourself.
Mom: Okay, sweetheart, I trust you. Now, can you help me to my bed?
Me: Of course, mom.
I took my mom to her room, and got ready for bed.
The next morning I got up and got ready for school.

I made breakfast, quickly ate, and took it to my mom's room.
Mom: Thanks, love. Hey, baby, what do you feel about your brothers?
Me: I don't know, mom. They left right after you got diagnosed, and they never reached out once. I don't want to think about them right now.
Mom: I understand, love. Now, hurry and get to school, make sure to be safe.
Me: I will, mom, and you know the drill, no hard work, and don't get up unless you have to use the bathroom!
I ran out of the house, and began to skate to school.
Once I made it to school, I went inside and made my way to 1st period.
I was taking out my supplies, when one of my classmates barged into the room.
Bomin: Results from that test we took three weeks ago were posted on the board!
We all ran out of class to look at the board.
Student: Damn it! Y/n got first place again!
I looked at the paper and my name was all the way at the top.
