"Don't stray too far from me okay? I don't know everybody at this party and I want to keep you safe."
"Okay."
"Promise me." Jimin said with desperation.
"I promise." Mi-Sun said softly.
The surroundings were dark and intense, not at all how Mi-Sun imagined this party. To party with the freaks. Jimin's words echoed through Mi-Sun's mind. Mi-Sun felt Jimin's hand grip hers. She looked down, watching as his fingers interlaced with hers which made her stomach tighten.
"Joon!" Jimin yelled as he pulled Mi-Sun to a black leather couch in the corner, surrounded by men that look like they could burn the world down with one match. "You fuckin made it! Pay up idiots." The men that sat around Namjoon sighed and threw hundred dollar bills on the table. "What, did you guys bet I wouldn't make it? What the hell is that?!" Jimin exclaimed with a fake betrayed look on his face. "And you brought along the breathtaking Mi-Sun. Come here, sit with me." Mi-Sun looks at Jimin as if she's asking for permission, he nods at her to go ahead.
"What did he have to do to get you to a party like this?" Namjoon asked, leaning into Mi-Sun, trying to yell over the music. Mi-Sun let out a fake laugh, not sure what to say. "So what is it?" Mi-Sun furrowed her brows at the cryptic question, "What do you mean what is what?" Mi-Sun asked him, confused. Namjoon gestured to Mi-Sun, "What's your vice? What brings somebody like you to a place like this?" Mi-Sun throws her head back cackling. "You, a lawyer, are asking me what I'm doing here? I think I should be asking you that. It's weirder that you're here." Namjoon couldn't help but to chuckle at the absurdity of his own question. "You're right. But I'm here for this goon. I imagine you are too." Mi-Sun nodded and looked over at Jimin. He was sitting on a chair bullshitting with his friends. She couldn't help but admire him, his demeanor, his everything. Damn, he's so special.
Jimin looked over at Mi-Sun, catching her gaze. He lifted his arm up and placed his hand on the side of his head; leaning into it a little bit, giving her a tantalizing smile. His eyes warm and welcoming. She felt her heart begin to ache, the blood in her veins vibrating through her body. All he had to do was look at her and her body weakened. He made her melt in the most beautiful way possible.
She turned her gaze back to Namjoon. "I'll follow him anywhere he wants me to go. Be it heavens gates or the burning inferno of hell. If he's going, I am too." Namjoon raised his eyebrows at Mi-Sun, letting his lips part. "Well fuck me that's intense." Mi-Sun scoffed, "Tell me about it." Joon opened a beer and gave it to Mi-Sun lifting his beer up to hers. "Cheers to heavens gates and burning infernos." They clinked beers and began chugging.
"Look at you two. Chugging together and shit. It's cute." Jimin licked his lip.
"Getting jealous are we Jimin?" Mi-Sun teased him.
"Deathly." Jimin got up and made his way over to Mi-Sun, grabbing her from her seat. "Watch her beer Joon. We're going to dance."
As the slowed down r&b song began to burst through the speakers Jimin held Mi-Sun by the hips and pulled her closer to him. "There's something about you. All I want to do is be with you and make you happy. I've never felt this for anybody before."
