felix's injuries were not bad, but he didn't wake up yet. chan grew tired and sleepy after all the crying he had done. he was also jetlagged considering he just got home a few hours ago.
so he fell asleep, beside felix and felix's hands still in his bigger ones. he couldn't recall his dreams but he woke up feeling brighter.
when he woke up, it was already morning, the sun shining on his face, his neck hurting from an uncomfortable position, his hands still holding to felix's.
he looked over at felix and saw that he didn't wake up yet. but at some part he knew it was going to be soon.
the group were gonna vist him in a few hours, so chan decided to go to the bathroom to fix himself up.
he still took care of himself but not as much, he showers but quicker than normal, and just fixes it in place. he ate too but not as much. he still waited for his baby boy to wake up.
after a few hours of chan just going through his phone and crying and panicking. the group arrived.
they all gasped when they saw chan, his face red and his eyes swollen.
"dude." changbin said
chan looked up at him.
"are you okay."
"y-yeah."
that was a complete lie. in all honesty he was scared. he was scared that felix wasn't going to wake up. he was scared if felix was gonna remember chan. he was scared that his light would shut off.
"that's bullshit c'mere"
jisung said and opening his arms out for chan. chan hesitantly hugged jisung. and the group hugged chan too. chan sobbed in jisung's shoulder and everyone started to try to cheer chan up.
they pulled away and chan went to felix. he held felix's hand and looked up at him.
"felix, baby i love you, i'm sorry. i messed up, i froze i didn't get to you fast enough. instead i just stood there and r-ran after a moment. i watched you get hit but i didn't act fast. i'm sorry, this is all my fault. i'm sorry, dada is sorry. i am so stupid for not walking to you instead. i am so stupid for all of this. i promised to take care of you, but i'm bad at this. i fuck up. dada doesn't deserve you. i'm so scared lix, please wake up. i promise i'll do better but i'm sorry, this is all my fault."
chan then cried hard. his head down and his hand gripping felix's hand. the group cried seeing chan so broken and hurt , it wasn't a pretty sight.
"d-dada.." felix mumbled with a voice barely above a whisper.
chan looked up. seeing felix eyes droopy but they were open.
felix eyes were opened
he's awake.
"felix!" chan said and cupped felix's face.
"get a doctor!" hyunjin panicked
felix eyes opened as he held chan's hands tighter. chan smiled and his eyes still watery.
felix was awake. his light was awake.
