[The attack of Knifehead...]

(No one's P.o.v)

"We aren't getting any signals Marshall" A young man with blonde hair says.

"That Bastard is there somewhere, don't get cocky Beckett" A voice said over the intercom.

"We won't Marshall" Another young man with blonde hair says.

*Beep Beep Beep*

"Warning, Warning, Category 3 Kaiju. Codename: Knifehead detected" The A.I of Gipsy Danger says.

Yancy and Raleigh look for the Kaiju, but were jumped on by it.

Knifehead snarled.

"This Little B****!" Yancy growls.

Raleigh glared.

A plasma cannon was activated and shoots at the Kaiju, making it screech in pain.

The battle between the Jeager and Kaiju wore on for a while, until...

The left arm of Gipsy was torn off, both Becketts heard a ear piercing scream that even made Knifehead back off.

The Jeager, seemingly moving on its own now, growled. It activated its other cannon and shot repeatedly at the Kaiju.

Knifehead was eventually too wounded, but still lunged at the Jeager, trying to claw at its head.

Both Becketts look at eachother.

Suddenly a claw striked Yancy in the arm, he screamed in pain.

Raleigh growled with hate, he uses the cannon to shoot Knifehead away.

Yancy was bleeding badly. Raleigh took off the harness connecting him to the Jeager and immediately went to Yancy's side.

He hugged his brother close. They were defenceless, both pilots out of commission.

But the Jeager had other plans.

The Jeager, now in full control of its actions, fires at Knifehead more.

Knifehead screeched in pain, eventually backing off.

Gipsy's power core rumbled, it was critically damaged and Yancy needed medical care.

"Marshall, we need medical aid when we get back, and something to tell you." Raleigh says to the intercom.

"Alright." The Marshall or Stacker Pentecost says.

Gipsy moved itself, walking.

Raleigh still held his brother close, stopping the bleeding the best he could.

Yancy was breathing heavily, feeling lightheaded and weak.

They felt every step Gipsy took, hearing the splashing of the water and waves. It was still thundering.

"Yancy Beckett, Blood levels critical, Immediate Medical First Aid activated" The A.I says.

A med-kit popped out from the back, Raleigh grabs it and gets bandages to seal the wound until they make it back to the Shatterdome.

Gipsy continued to walk, but its systems were failing due to its damage. It locates land and collapsed on a snowy shore.

A little boy and a old man found it and the brothers, calling 911.

An ambulance and Police cars pulled up to the scene just a few minutes later. Medics immediately got out of the ambulance and rushed down to get Yancy.

Yancy was rushed to the hospital, leaving Raleigh to explain to the Police what had happened, leaving out the part about Gipsy moving and fighting on its own.

"My name is Raleigh Beckett, Jeager pilot for the Mark 3 Jeager Gipsy Danger." He told the press, who were interviewing him.

"And who was the other pilot?" One reporter asked.

"That was my older brother, Yancy Beckett. During the battle with the Kaiju, Knifehead, he was injured, forcing me pilot on my own." He says, only halfly lying.

They asked and asked him questions until they heard the booming voice of Stacker.

"Enough Questions. Leave Mr.Beckett be. Now."

They all scurry off.

"Beckett." Stacker says, narrowing his eyes.

"Yes Sir?" Raleigh asks.

"Why was the Jeager moving on its own?"

Raleigh froze.

"To be honest sir, I'm not sure, you'd have to ask it"

"Ask the Jeager?" Stacker says, raising an eyebrow.

Raleigh nods. Stacker looks over at the damaged Jeager, who was being carried off by helicopters.

They return to the Shatterdome, the Cherno Alpha pilots, Sasha and Aleksis Kaidonovsky, came over to Raleigh.

"How's Yancy?" Sasha asks, her russian accent showing.

"He's in the hospital, the doctors said he'll be fine, just no Jeager piloting for a while" Raleigh says.

"Huh" Aleksis says.

"Can I tell you something, and promise not to tell anyone else?" He asks the married couple.

"We Promise" Sasha says.

"During the battle with Knifehead, something happened with Gipsy, it was almost like it came to life. I didn't pilot on my own, the Jeager fought by itself."

Sasha and Aleksis were surprised so much they almost couldn't believe it, but then again.

"Strange, our Jeager had shown signs of the same thing" Aleksis says.

"Wait Really?" Raleigh says.

The couple nods.

"Our battle a few months back, I got hurt, I was unable to continue the fight, and Aleksis couldn't pilot on his own, so our Jeager fought on its own."

"Interesting"

The 3 were contemplating on how their Jeagers could do that. Surely if their's could move on their own, then did the others do so too?

Only time will tell.
