Jenna Coleman from the tv series Victoria is who I envision for Lady Georgiana however you are free to envision her however you please.

Hearing the library door open I quickly glanced towards it as I spotted Nicholas enter the room quickly scanning it as his blue eyes found me, watching as he breathed a sigh of relief "there you are" he muttered softly. Watching as he walked towards me in quick strides I placed the book down upon the settee beside me as I placed my hands in my lap, watching him carefully I was still a little angry with him for his display last night. Coming to a stop in front of me he looked unsure of how to approach me, letting out a sigh I glanced down at my hands before returning my gaze to him "Nicholas what is it?" I kept my voice gentle but firm.

Watching him let out a sigh he carefully sat on the settee opposite me "Cynthia, I.." watching as he faced an internal battle with himself he quickly gathered his thoughts "Cynthia, I want to apologize for my behavior last night it was not my intention to cause you distress". Glancing into his blue eyes I could not find any falsehoods "all is forgiven Nicholas, however, it is not right to slight a man who was not there to speak for himself no matter how much he vexes you so" watching as he collects himself to hide his true feelings of Lord Gray he nods. "You dear cousin are right although all I ask is that you be careful around him" letting out a gentle sigh I could not help shaking my head "Nicholas much to your unrest you speak as if Lord Gray and I are more than mere acquaintances we have only had the pleasure of speaking on 3 occasions" deciding that this conversation should be over I glanced towards the grandfather clock taking a note of the time.

"If you shall excuse me I need to get ready for the party tonight that uncle has so graciously decided to host" sending Nicholas a small smile I quickly stood as he followed suit bowing slightly before turning on his heel to leave. Letting out a sigh of relief I couldn't help but feel that Nicholas was being more protective than a normal cousin should, deciding that I was not going to let it trouble me so I quickly walked out of the library and in the direction of the stairs, upon arriving at my bed-chamber I rang the bell for Rose before taking a seat at the dressing table. Hearing the door open I turned slightly to see Rose enter letting a smile grace my lips I watched her curtsey "You called for me Milady?" she stood waiting for my directions, "I require your help to get ready for the party my uncle is hosting Rose".

Watching her nod through the mirror she headed towards my trunk noting I hadn't picked out a gown yet, rose picked out a lovely deep blue dress the color of sapphires "this one will look beautiful Milady" she uttered quietly as she turned to face me. Nodding my acceptance I smiled at her before quickly taking my day dress off behind the screen before allowing her to tighten my corset ever so slightly before I stepped into the deep blue gown pulling it up as Rose began the laces, just as Rose finished my laces there was a quiet knock on the door. "Come in" I called out as I watched the door open slowly as Georgiana poked her head in hearing her gasp I couldn't help the rosy red that now stained my cheeks. "Cynthia you look positively handsome in that dress, you will have no trouble finding a suitor I am sure" letting a tsk sound escape my lips I shake my head at her antics "now, now Georgiana let's forget about me, Rose?" I turned on my heel to look back at her "Yes Milady?" she said as she glanced from me towards Georgiana.

"Please see to it that my cousin is the most radiant belle of the ball," I said letting out a soft laugh before shooing them both away, turning to walk back to my dressing table I quickly placed on some blue drop earrings. After grabbing a fan and slipping on my dance slippers to match my dress I stood and exited my room into the hallway, spotting Irvin standing near the railing glancing down into the foyer where I could just hear my uncle and aunt welcoming the guests. As if he heard my soft footfalls he glanced towards me with a soft smile "Cynthia, dear cousin you look radiant" he smiled gently as he offered me his arm before we slowly walked to the stairs descending them. Letting out a quiet but hearty laugh I glanced towards him "thank you, dear cousin" as we both stepped from the last step we watched as some of the guests glanced in our direction as we made our way towards my aunt and uncle.
