UNVEILING

ADVITI'S  POV: "Adu, is he the one?" came his unvexed voice, I for sure wasn't ready to face the arrow of question he shot at me. But I remained un-startled, as his spontaneity wasn't something new! He has always been the same. Isn't it? Covering his emotions beneath his tough demeanor. Huh! Typical Varun, I muttered by rolling my eyes.
"Y....you... Didn't answer me? Is it because you feel that my question was invalid or now you don't find me trustworthy enough to share your personal life?", there he goes again, urghhh!
                "Look, you better stop probing my mind Varun, will you? I am sure you will fail to figure out my mind as always, so it has no use. You might be able to read people's mind with your strong intuition but don't forget, you can never read me... Well, I didn't answer your question, because I don't owe you any answer-that's it!"
               He heard my words patiently and then replied,"ok let me consider it to be the second one, then!" To which I retorted by saying, "Jo sochna hain sochlo, I don't care... Not anymore!" Maybe I was rude, wasn't I?

Throwback:

       "Your eyes give away soo much, you know how much it means to an artist when he finally finds a person who can be his muse forever? That's a different feeling altogether! I have always known to be the one with strongest intuition, since my childhood-but then you stepped into my life and proving everyone wrong, you wrote soo many chapters of my life without my notice! I fail to comprehend your words, decipher your way of expressing but your alluring eyes always unfold the secrets...Your eyes have the whole world hidden within them, haina?..." As he said these words,I noticed that his hazel green orbs shined brighter than the fairy-lights that surrounded the two of us! But I am a crazy soul after all, someone who never realised the meaning of living the life within the moment. Out of all the meaningful words of his, as if my mind was all the time on a single word, I questioned him, "Isn't forever just a myth though?Mujhe agle pal hi nahi pata, how can you be soo sure about tomorrows'?"
      He slightly smiled, giving a 'I - know - you very well' look and then replied, "yes I don't know our tomorrows', yes have got zero clarity about where our lives will take us as a part of our dreams, yes I don't even have slightest idea about what's the future of this relationship, but... all that I know, is that sweetheart, the universe is listening to all our prayers and no matter if we are on the same path or not, no matter our bond stays the same or not, the universe certainly won't fail us, the universe won't be successful in failing our faith!"
         "Gosh! You have answer for my every worry, for my every question, isn't it? You are honestly the best gift I have ever received and yes, the universe if at all as you said is listening to our prayers, today holding your hand, standing besides you all that I wanna pray for is, an eternity-an eternity of hope, an eternity of love" the tears that rolled down on my cheeks which probably seemed insignificant to me, was instantly wiped off by my man. He came closer to me and whispered in the sweetest voice, "You are such a drama queen tho...hehe" My glare after that, probably would've scared anyone around!

Present:

         "Cool, if you don't wanna share, I am absolutely fine with it, anyway it's your life, I shouldn't have interfered... Adu... Advi...forget it, urghh I am sorry" "Shushshh! You are forgetting we are in a public place, waise I now know who is a drama queen without any doubt!" I chuckled meekly...
          "Soooo you wanna know things? Fine. You will know them all, everything from the day, I... We... I mean, our paths were separated!" "Ok, go ahead" "It all wasn't preplanned, after my graduation, I landed up getting a job of my choice, in one of the most reputed companies of Mumbai, ' Illuminator group of industries'. Had finally landed up getting a proper job that paid me enough to lead a peaceful life, take care of my naani and my dad's medical expense. Everything around made me feel I am painting the canvas of my life with the colours of my choice,until, that one day..."

Updating after a really long time, soo thought of not leaving y'all on a cliffhanger, but then...this idea happened, hehe, well the author is trying to sound like Adviti now!🤭🤭
