The young female Qixing had recently come home from a business trip in Mingyung village with a couple other of her peers. She had gone straight back to work as usual though, nothing out of ordinary. You had to admit though, it was hard to date her. You loved her but she didn't always have time to do normal romantic couple things.
She was always busy helping people around Liyue Harbor and doing things for Ningguang which made you slightly jealous but you could wait for her. After about an hour or so of you sulking on the couch alone waiting for her return, you heard the doorknob rattle, signaling that she was home.
You were wearing an oversized T-shirt that had just covered your ass so that you didn't have to wear shorts. You hoped off the couch and ran over to the door as quick as you possibly could, swinging it open and shoving her in your arms. She stumbled back at the sudden movement and hugged you back too.
"You're home later than usual.." you told her, still holding her in your arms.
"I'm sorry, but I do have a surprise for you" you leaned back to get a better look at her, and she smiled and waved her hands up.
"I'm off work for a week" she said, excitedly, but you could also hear how exhausted she was. You smile really big and jump up and down,
"Finally! Yay! We can take naps and cuddle and go to that one food vendor I've been mentioning! Is there anything you want to do?" She thinks for a moment and says that she would like to go shopping because it helps ease some weight off her shoulders. You nodded at the idea and ran over to the kitchen and grabbed a couple of things from cabinets and drawers. You gathered up all the things you needed and decided to make you both dinner. While you were cooking, you saw Keqing walk out of the shared room you have in a cute 2 piece night outfit. You smiled at her and she blushed slightly and sat on the couch reading a book.
You finished making the food, a batch of golden shrimp balls and black eyed stew. You brought the food over to the kitchen in front of her and she smiled when you say it down. You sat down next to her and and she hugged you and dug in quickly, enjoying her favorite meal. You watched her, not too hungry since you had been snacking throughout the day.
Once she finished she layer back into the couch and on your arm, resting for a bit. After a bit you looked over and saw her sleeping quietly, probably from the heavy amounts of work she does. You picked her up and carried her to the bedroom and sat her down on her side. You tucked her in before walking back to your side and laying down next to her.
You smiled at the sleepy over worked girl and nuzzled up next to her, sighing and wrapping an arm around her.
"Please make some time for yourself, you overwork yourself"
