Acid Armor and a Glass Mask

Cracked my back,
Lifting dead weight.
Holding me down,
Twisted in fate.
Cursed with the sounds,
Trapped in this space.
The feeling is revealing,
A person and place.

Recent memories,
They go to die.
Caged like a prisoner,
Held in my mind.
Beating on bars,
While the concious decides.
The noises and poison,
Are plaguing inside.

Toxic molds,
Of what I am.
Venomous shells,
Empty I stand.
Layers are peeling,
Starts with my hand
Shed all the skin,
Start over again.

Build it back up,
Watch it collapse.
Protect yourself wisely,
From shattering glass.
Walls crumble quickly,
The pain will still pass.
Unless it destroys me,
Or knocks off my mask.
