The Return

umm hey so i stopped writing for a bit cause i'm failing school but i want to at least give you one chapter because it's been to long, this story is coming to an end soon because i don't want to leave you guys without updates forever and we've basically gotten to the love parts but i will end it off on a happy note with a complete ending so maybe in 2 or 3 chapters. ok enjoy this and sorry again

JJ's POV

I woke up bright and early this morning with a smile on my face. Emily's arms were wrapped tightly around my waist and i felt her breath on my neck. I carefully remove her hands and get out of bed, walking over to the closet to throw on a hoodie. I make my way into the kitchen and start to make some tea, checking the clock while the water boiles. The time reads 6:45, i smile to myself when i am reminded of how i used to dread getting up for work in the mornings but this morning was special, it was first day back to work since Henry was born. Of course i was nervous to leave him all day and not because i couldn't trust Emily but because i have never been without my baby boy for more than an hour since i had him but i get pulled out of my thoughts by a high pitched scream from the kettle. As i put my tea bag into my mug i feel familliar arms snake around my waist, "good morning" she whispers into my ear from behind. I turn my head to face her but not my body and she gives me a peck on the lips "very good morning indeed" i say back, turning my head once more to face my mug again and stirring in around with my finger. "Well someone is a little excited to go back to work" she says taking her hands off of my waist and stepping next to me, starting to make her morning coffee. "Must you torture me by making that now and yes, i am excited" giving a big smile which quickly fades as my fear start to rush into the front of my thoughts "and also scared, i mean what if something happens to you or Henry or we have a case and i cant come home or-" i am cut off by another pair of lips on mine which are pulled away as quickly as they were placed, "i love it when you do that" i quietly say taking a deep breath. "Jayje, everything is going to be fine i promise, and if you get called out on a case we will make sure to video chat any time we can" she says calmly. I love that she can do that, its one of the many things i love about her. No we have not said i love you to each other yet but we will get there. A loud cry snaps me out of my thoughts this time, " i got it" Emily says while already heading for the nursery. A minute later she emerges from the dark room with a sleepy Henry in her arms and a smile on her face. "Youre cute, ya know that" i say to her with a proud smile on my face, she simply replies back "yea" and looks up from Henry to give me a smirk to which i just roll my eyes. After hanging out in the kitchen a little longer i decied to head for the shower while Em feeds him. I try not to get to lost in thought but i just cant help it, luckely before i get to caught up Emily walks into the room and all my focus goes to her. I step out of the shower and wrap myself in a towel, walking into the open bedroom where Emily is sitting on a chair in the corner reading a book with Henry in her lap. I strut to the closet seeming to catch her eye and just pretend not to see her. Her eyes go wide as i drop to towel and start to get dressed, first in matching underwear and a bra then into a dark red pencil skirt and finally into a loose fitting white blouse. I shoot Emily a look, who seems to be struggling to stay seated. We are both going a little bit crazy since Emily's injury cock blocked us, and let me tell you the sexul tension is high where ever and when ever. "Staring is quite rude Ms. Prentiss" i laugh and she just shoots me a sideways smile, the pink color rising in her cheeks. "Well you make it quite hard not to Ms. Jareau". I laugh again heading back to the bathroom to straighten my hair and throw on light makeup. When i step out Em is once again staring at me. I chuckle to myself and check my watch, 7:25, i look at Em and give her a wink before heading to the kitchen to pack a lunch and get my go bag from the laundry room. I am ready to leave just in time, Emily comes out into the main area and gives me a sideways hug and a kiss "be careful ok" she says low, i look into her eyes and whisper "always" then move down to Henry and give him a big kiss on the forehead to which he smiles largely, "bye Hen love you" i say then turn to reach for the door handle. I want to say those three words to Emily so bad and almost do, but i dont want to scare her so i sadly smile to myself and walk out the door ready to start the day.
