Izuku Midoriya always had difficulties with trust, whenever he trusted someone they hurt him. His father abused and abandoned him, his teachers hated him and set him up for failure, and the other kids in school bullied him for something he had no control over. What is that thing you might ask? What could possibly ruin someone's life so much? Well, Izuku Midorya, was quirkless. Yes in a world filled to the brim with heroes and quirks, he did not. After he was diagnosed his mother adopted a young girl by the name of Robin.
Robin had a quirk that he called infrared vision, though she was experimented on as a baby so she had the features of a cat, like cat ears and a tail, she could even turn into a cat! Sadly because of what she looked like she too was bullied by the judgemental youth of Mustapha, Japan. Even though he now had his beloved sister, life did not get better, in fact, it only got worse. At The age of 8, their dear mother Inko was killed. Their apartment complex was blown up because of a villain fight between All might, endeavor, and some random villain. A deep hatred for the two hero's burns in the two children, 5 as time went on. The two were shipped off to an orphanage where they were repeatedly emotionally and physically abused because of their differences.
After a year of so much trauma, the two children ran away, becoming homeless and after 3 years on the streets, they began their career as Vigilantes. When Izuku looks back he can't truly remember when they became vigilantes, at first they were just stopping petty crimes until before long they were fighting with underground heroes and putting villains in jail. At first, the hero's tried to arrest them but after a while it became normal and they stopped trying to arrest them. At one point when Midoriya was walking home from school while Robin did patrols, he intervened when he saw a blond boy getting attacked by a villain. 'Typical' he thought as he looked at the daytime hero's not attempting to stop the crime. He rolled his eyes and jumped into action, when he reached the villain he recognized the boy being attacked. His name was Katsuki Bakugou Quirk; Explosions.
He and Bakugou were friends until the age of 4 when Katsuki was pushed into the limelight when his flashy quirk developed so early, Bakugou never did bully him much, only ever calling him Deku when they were 7. When Izuku had almost gotten Bakugou out of the slime, villains grasp All Might appeared to "Save the day". In the end, All Might got all the glory, and Izuku was being lectured by the hero's who did literally nothing the whole fight. "Useless fukin limelight assholes' ' he grumbled as he walked back toward his and his sisters' little dumpster that they slept under "at least Bakugos's ok..." he mumbled. Suddenly he looked up and All might be standing before him "Hello there my boy!" he yelled in his loud hero voice 'Jesus didn't think he'd be so aggravating' Izuku thought and he looks at the #1 hero. "I've come here to offer you something," the Pro yelled, giving Izuku a creepy smile. Izuku raised his eyebrow waiting for him to continue.
All might then go on a long tangent on how he could help him become a hero and then all about his quirk and then offer him a piece of his hair! I mean seriously, how does this guy think he is?! "Yeah, no thanks" Izuku grumbled, walking past the pro. All might clearly miffed by the fact that this young boy didn't "swoon" at his feet, turned, and yelled after the boy "Don't you wish to become a hero?!" he yelled. Izuku stopped walking and turned his upper body back towards the pro hero, "I do! And I will be! But I'd like to do it by myself" he called out, he then turned back and started walking again. "I'll be the first quirkless hero Tosinori!" he yelled "Just you wait and see!" Izuku then disappeared from view.
'How did he know my civilian name?' he thought as he went home 'oh well, I still need to find a successor'. "Hey, Zu!" Robin called out jumping from her crouched position on a window ledge "Where've you been?" she asked, flipping her long brown hair over her shoulder. Zu then went into full detail about his day, "Honestly, what is it with day time hero's thinking they're all high and mighty?" she growled flopping back onto the roof they were sitting on. "All they do is cause more property damage and raise taxes' ' she mumbled. Zu nodded in agreement as he scanned over the alleyway in his view. "All right enough, lolly-gagging, we have a patrol to do," Izuku said, pulling his sister up. "I know," she grumbled, pulling her black mask up.
