Chapter 36

TW: Blood, death, being impaled, Panic attacks, Infertility, and STD's

 She stared at him from her crouched position for no less than three seconds until she rolled to the side pulling Eri with her and running off back to U.A as fast as she could. Before Overhaul could follow her he was stopped by a bullet going through the end of his mask, "I wouldn't if I were you!" Izuku yelled eyes cold. "I'll kill you if I must" he stated running over. Before he could move close enough to Izuku he was pushed back by Bakugou's explosions, "Kirishima! Go find Robin! We'll hold him off!" Katsuki yelled to his boyfriend. Eijirou nods and runs off after his girlfriend, "How fun! Guess I'll have to kill all of you, pity!" Overhaul yells charging forward through Bakugou's explosions. "I think not!" Izuku grins as Hizashi screams him into the side of a building, Overhaul hits the side of the building hard before pushing himself up and charging forward once again pressing his hands into the ground causing it to rumble and spike up. The three jumped up but not without injury, thanks to the spikes Izuku now had a new cut on the side of his calf.

Thankfully it wasn't life-threatening as he balanced on one of the spikes and continued to shoot at the villain. Overhaul grumbled and slammed his hand onto the side of a building causing it to crumble and reshape itself as a sort of battering ram and shoot toward the three heroes. Thankfully Katsuki blew it up before it could hit them, Overhaul grumbled again before reshaping the ground again to make the spikes curl and attempt to stab the three heroes. The fighting continued with Overhaul attempting to stab them with cement and Izuku attempting to shoot him in the face. At some point one of the spikes actually hit Katsuki, stabbing him through the thigh and knocking him out. Neither Hizashi nor Izuku was doing much better, Izuku's calf injury was much worse than he originally thought and was bleeding everywhere, slowing him down. Overhaul, now noticing Izuku's weakened state, sent a large spike his way in an attempt to spear him through the chest.

Thankfully Mirio appeared grabbing Izuku and jumping out of the way pulling Hizashi along with him, "Are you two ok?" He questioned. Both nodded and Miro turned fully prepared to fight, he jumped off continuously attempting to punch Overhaul on the face. Which he mildly succeeded when he appeared behind him slamming the villain into the ground. However, the victory was short-lived when he was hit in the side by a bullet which somehow stopped his quirk giving Overhaul the ability to send a battering ram into him causing him to fly back into the park unconscious. Overhaul then turned and shot Izuku through the arm with the same bullets, Overhaul looked confused as Izuku just rolled his shoulder back into place and fired off seven shots in his direction. Each bullet hit its mark. Overhaul stared in horror as his mask was literally shot off his face, he screamed in a rage as he was forced to breath "dirty" air sending several spikes after Izuku which he dogged with ease.

However much to Hizashi horror one of the spikes ended up hitting a civilian, that "civilian" was the pro hero Nighteye. He had followed with Mirio to help control the crowds until other pros could assist in the fight. The man stared at the spike going through his chest with sorrow allowing himself to collapse to the floor as the spike was removed from his body. The crowd surrounded him and Izuku screamed in a rage as he watched his old mentor get taken away for possibly fatal wounds. Sure, Izuku didn't generally like Nighteye but the man mattered to Mirio and Izuku cared for Mirio. Izuku turned toward a laughing Overhaul and successfully stole the gun he used to stop Mirios quirk. Overhaul sent a spike to strike him as Izuku pulled the trigger of Overhaul's gun, the bullet hit the villain in the shoulder causing all the spikes and battering rams to crumbled and fall. Overhaul stared in horror as he crumbled to the ground, finally knocked unconscious when Izuku kicked him in the face.

Police and other pros surrounded Izuku dragging him off to an ambulance to fix his leg and arm. Once he was forced to sit down in the back of the ambulance so a doctor could heal him he realized his pops didn't get off as scotch-free as he originally thought. There was now a large gash going down the man's right side starting at his shoulder and down to his hip. Thankfully the cut wasn't too severe and was easily sewn back together, however, the puncture wound over his left hip was more serious. He'd failed to evade one of the spikes causing it to bury itself in his side, thankfully it didn't go all the way through his body but he was still bleeding immensely. He had been loaded into the back of another ambulance and was being taken to the hospital for a small round of healing. Katsuki was the second most injured being immediately loaded into an ambulance for his thigh injury. However, Izuku was the most worried about Mirio.
