Chapter Nine

Associated to the previously event of the Rhyhorn Race, the peaceful voyage back to Lumiose City was an average occasionally, as I was having those negative thoughts about something with my past, as we were roaming around to the aware streets of Lumiose City once again, as my Eevee appeared a handful pleasantly, as I was holding closer to my chest, and growing a warming beam smile. "We've reached Lumiose City!" My brother exclaimed waving over to us, as he looked side to side with a cheerfully expression.

"I wasn't able to look properly around last time, but I can see why this city is said to set fashion trends all over the world." Serena warmly exclaimed, as her eyes wide, running over to the bakery and placing her hands against the glass window. "The people of the city look so fancy!" She continued speaking, as she faced towards the Prism Tower with a bright smile on her face. "The Prism Tower looks wonderful, too!" I gazed at the tower, once again having a strange feeling about something.

I could hear Clemont sighing under his breath, as I gave him a concern look. "Y-You're right..." His voice was stuttered, as I could tell that Clemont is hiding something from us. "It's not bad..." I raised my eyebrows, as both of the siblings were not telling the truth.

"The Lumiose Gym is in that tower, you know?" My brother merrily clamored, looking back to the tower. "So you've already challenged the Gym, Ash?" Serena sweetly raised a question, as she stared at Ash. "The thing is, I went there, but..." He mortifying clarifying, as we both had remembered when he wanted to challenge the Lumiose Gym, as he was scratching his head. "In other words, I didn't get to have a Gym match in the end." He finished telling Serena, his story, as Pikachu felt disappointed.

Serena's eyes wide, as she was shocked after everything that happened to him. "Huh. I didn't know there were Gyms you couldn't challenge until you had four badges." She answered, as I've felt my teeth clenching in anger, having those thoughts about Kasper made up a lie of getting into the Gym. "With that said, why don't we just pass through this city and continue onwards for now?" I could tell that Clemont was nervously sweating, as he had a big secret while Bonnie was clearly agreeing with her big brother. "Huh? But I wanted to have a look around..." Serena warmly hinted, as she felted dissatisfied that she wouldn't be able to go shopping or sightseeing. "Let's do that some other time." Bonnie brushed it off, as she wanted to get out of Lumiose City.

Ash raised his eyebrows, as he noticed something is up between those two, as Bonnie was about to run off while Clemont tugged me and Serena to move forward. "There's no need to rush..." His voice hesitated nervously, as they were still pulling us away. "If it isn't Clemont and Bonnie!" A male voice was calling out Clemont and Bonnie names, as we frantically turned around, and glancing at the larger man having a beard, holding a green motorbike with a yellow, bipedal Pokemon sitting next to him, growing a bright smile on his face. "Dad!" Clemont exclaimed, as his eyes wide in shocked.

I was surprised that we've bump into Clemont's and Bonnie's father. "Uhm, I'll introduce you." Clemont responding, nervously looking back at his father. "This is our Dad..." Bonnie clamored, as she was giving us a small smile on her face. "...Meyer. I'm running an electric appliance store in this city together with Ampharos." Meyer officially introducing himself, as his Ampharos was giving us a cheeky wave. "Wow. With a Ampharos, huh?" My brother responded, as he was amazed of seeing an Ampharos before, as Bonnie rushed over to us, with a bright smile. "These are our new friends." She began chatting in an eager tone, as I gave Meyer a small warm smile. "What?!" Meyer sudden got surprisingly shocked, as Bonnie wad mentioning to him about us. "I'm...incredibly moved!" He exclaimed, began crying in happy tears, as Eevee and I both looked at each other confusedly. "I'm so happy, Clemont, Bonnie!" He continued speaking in a softer tone, as giving them both a big hug.

"I'm Ash and this is my partner Pikachu." My brother introduce himself, as his Pikachu was waving at Meyer. "Oh, a Pikachu, Huh? Those are fine electric sacs." Meyer exclaimed, as he was scratching my brother's Pikachu chin, and I felt that he caught my eyes for some reason. "And you, young lady?" Meyer curiously asked, as he was still staring me and Serena.
