Mizuki pov.
The next morning, I wake up a bit early. Ish.

Keishin is already awake.

"Good morning Zuki."

"Morning." I yawn.

"Let's go a bit early. I want to go to the store first."

I nod and I go to my room to change. I quickly change into my uniform (shirt and shorts) and I put on my jacket and pants on top.

I put my volleyball shoes and kneepads in my bag, and some other random stuff.

I run down, and I take some snacks and my bento box.

We leave and my brother drives us to the store.

"You can go up. I'm gonna stay here for a bit." He said to me, and he went inside.

I walk up the hill.

Is anyone here yet...? It's pretty early

As I go up, I see Hinata park his bike and start running.

"Hey Sho!" I call him as I run beside him.

"Hi Zuki!" He smiles and says to me.

Then, we hear someone running behind us. Kageyama dashes past us.

"HEY!" Hinata yells, and he runs after him, and I follow.

It turned into a race. And I won. Obviously.

"HAHA!" I scream as Kageyama and Hinata are on the ground out of breath.

"How did you run so fast Zuki?"

I shrug. "Donno. I'll check if the club room is open."

I go up the stairs, and I hesitate before I try the door.

"Am I allowed to go in?" I ask the two boys who were now beside me.

"Well, you are part of the team after all."

I nod, and try the door, and its locked.

"Dammit." I mumble. "It's locked."

I sigh, and I sit on the ground.

"You guys ready for today?" I ask the two boys.

"Ya! I'm really excited!" Hinata smiles and yells.

Kageyama nods.

I see the third years arriving.

"Good morning!" I stand up and yell at them.

We wave to them.

"Morning!" Suga replies.

"I'll open the club room now." Daichi says, getting the keys.

After a few minutes, more people start coming.

Eventually, we all leave for the Sendai City gym.

Wow, theres a lot of teams...

"...the fallen champs." I hear some people say as we walk by them. "The clipped crows."

We stop behind them and glare.

"Can't fly? What was that?" Tanaka goes between the two with a scary face.

Daichi pulls him back and apologizes as we walk in the gym.

I giggle.

When we walk in, I hear people whispering stuff about us.

"They look so dark." "One of them doesn't look like they're in high school." "Wait is that Azumane of Karasuno?!"

I look at Asahi, curious. I listen to them talk.

Pftttt, Asahi? Wild?

I also see Noya and Tanaka circling Kiyoko, and she hit them to make them stop.

I laugh, and some boys around us blush.

"She's cute." "Ya, and pretty." "Wait why is there a girl on the team?" "Isn't that Karasuno's boys' volleyball club?"

The whole way there we hear people talking about us.

Them, we stop infront of the gym.

"It smells like Air Salonpas!" Hinata yells.

I sweatdrop.

What the hell, Sho?

Then, some scary looking guys come up to us.

Woah, they're huge! That must be Dateko...

One guy with white hair leading the team stands infront of us, and points to Asahi.

"Hey-" I start moving infront of Asahi, but he keeps me back.

They stare at each other for a bit, until one of the guy's teammates tells him to stop.

"Sorry, he has a habit of singling out the ace before the matches." A guy with brown hair helps the other guy.

The tall guy with white hair also glares at me, and I glare back.

"So I'd like you to get ready," the boy with brown hair says, "to lose again."

They walk away.

"That was scary." Suga says. "I'm surprised you kept looking at him in eye, Asahi."

"That was nerve-wracking." Asahi says, scared.

I keep staring at the team.

Lose again? Last year maybe...

Suga taps my shoulder, and I snap out of my thoughts.

"You too. How'd you keep looking at him in the eye?"

"Donno." I shrug. The team sweatdrops.

Someone comes up to Daichi, and they start talking.

Must be an old friend.

"Go on ahead without me." Daichi says to us, and we walk away.

"Who's that?" I whisper to Suga.

"Old friend, I think. Maybe from middle school." He says, and I nod.

We find a spot close to the gym, and we sit there and wait.

I look at Hinata, who is shaking.

"Hey Sho." I call him. "Are you ok?"

"Don't tell me your stomach is hurting again." Kageyama says too.

"I'm quivering in ancipation!" Hinata says.

I laugh. "What the heck, Sho?!"

"I think he means 'quivering in anticipation." Someone says.

"He's just quivering." Someone else says.

I sit beside him.

"Was it cause of Dateko?" I ask, and he nods.

"Relax, Sho!" I hug him. "Don't let them scare you. Just think of something else that's scarier, and remember that you overcame that!"

He blushes and thinks. Then, he suddenly looks all happy.

"Um you ok Sho?" I ask him.

"Ya, I think I'm okay now!"

I laugh, and Daichi call us over.

"Its our first match. Let's go warm up now." He says to us.

"Yes sir!" We say, and we follow him in.
