Mizuki pov.
The next day was pretty normal.

I went back to practice and the whole team trained together. All the teams played against each other too.

By lunchtime, our team played against half of the rest of the teams. After our break, we went right back into playing; and winning some matches too.

"Everyone, take ten!" Keishin orders. "Then, we'll be having dinner. And Daichi, make sure everyone runs laps."

"Yes sir!" We all exclaim.

The team lines up outside. Daichi stands in front.

"Three laps!" Our captains says. "We're going to run in pairs."

I find myself beside Tanaka. The two of us are behind Kinoshita and Kageyama. Hinata and Nishinoya are behind us.

Daichi stands at the front of the line, telling us when to go.

When Tanaka and I are at the front of the line, we get ready to run.

"Bet I can beat you." Tanaka challenges.

"As if." I accept.

"And...go!" Daichi claps.

The two of us sprint away. Slowly, I push forward. At our second lap, I look behind me.

"What happened to beating me?" I call back.

"I'm not done yet!" He yells.

I smile as I continue to run. I finish my second lap first, and run my last one.

I look behind me again, to see where Tanaka is. Then, I trip and fall.

"Woa-ACK!" I fall on the ground.

"Guess who's passing you!" Tanaka calls as he runs by me.

I grumble as I stand up.

"Dammit." I brush dirt off my shirt.

I dash to catch up, but Tanaka smiles victoriously after he finishes.

"How'd you even fall?! The paths are paved, and nothing's even on it!" Tanaka laughs at me.

"Shut up." I blush, embarrassed.

He laughs even more. I sneak up from behind him and jump, using his shoulders.

"SHUT UP!" I yell.

"AHAHAH-ACK!" Tanaka stumbles forward. "HEY!"

"You are just mad your senpai beat you." The boy smirks.

"Mhm, sure." I shrug. "Anyways, I'm going to the beach. Can you tell Daichi?"

"Wait a sec-"

"Thanks, see ya!" I run away before he replies.

I walk barefoot on the sand. I sit and watch the waves. I zone out, listening to the waves.

Suddenly, a drop of rain splashes on my face. I wake up and look around.

Is it starting to rain? The clouds are getting darker...

I watch the sky as the clouds settle in. The rain starts getting heavier.

"Zuki." Ushijima appears beside me. "We should go back now."

"Oh. Ya." I nod and stand up.

"You don't want to get sick again." Tendo adds.
