Chapter 33

These are thoughts
This is when Kageyama and Mizuki communicate without speaking

Mizuki pov.
We gather around Takeda and Keishin. He shows us a board with out names on it.

"For this set, we will start our rotation two places ahead."

Makes sense. Hinata won't be marked by no eyebrows as much as the last set. I also won't be marked by him either.

But that means-

"The others will be marked more." Keishin finishes my thoughts.

"We can't keep depending on Hinata and Mizuki." Asahi says. "I'll prove to you that I can be the ace."

I look at him in awe.

That's so cooooool

"Same here!" Hinata says. "I'll score as many points as I can when I'm up front!"

I tap Asahi.

"My back attacks aren't as good as yours, so you can count on us!" I smile and say.

"Great. I'm counting on it." Asahi says.

"Yes sir!" We both say.

"But your back attacks are better, Mizuki." Asahi turns around and mumbles.

"Maybe, but yours are really good, so shut up!" I pat his back.

We go on the court. This time, I'm in the serving spot, with Kageyama on my left and Tsukishima beside him. Asahi is infront of Tsukishima, Daichi is beside him, and Hinata beside Daichi.

Dateko is in the same rotation as before.

I see them glaring at Hinata and me. I ignore and pretend not to see them.

I hear some people in the stands talk about me being the Falcon. I ignore them too.

We start the set. I get the ball and bounce it a few times.

Then, I serve it to the back.

Shit! It's going to number 12!

They recieve it. Dateko sets it, and they spike it over.

They get the first point.

"Sorry guys! That was a bad serve." I apologize to the team.

"Shake it off, we'll get the next one!"

I nod and I get ready for the serve.

The match continues.

We do some more attack combinations, and I do more attacks as well. We get more points, but Dateko gets some points too, of course.

10-12, Karasuno

Dateko calls a time out.

That was kinda fast.

We group up around Keishin.

"Nice job team!" He say to us. "Keep doing what you're doing right now. Also, s..."

I space out while he talks.

The, I hear the whistle blow. I jump back, startled.

The team looks at me confused, and then they laugh.

"H-hey!" I yell, embarrassed.

We go back on the court.

The set continues.

Again, we get some points, they get some points.

17-17, tie

They serve it, and Noya receives it.
