Dream A Little Dream (21+)

Chapter 2

Raina was feeling a little overwhelmed as she made her way out of Incheon International Airport in hopes of finding a taxi.  While she had initially been excited to have Zack and Mika tag along to Korea with her to help her move into her dorm, she was now exhausted and frustrated with having to play translator for them.

You would have thought after all the time they had been friends, and with two years of Korean as a foreign language, her boyfriend and best-friend would have been able to at least piece a sentence together. 

Daeng, you'd be wrong, because their lazy asses barely scraped a passing grade, and only because she helped, and neither cared to learn anything about that part of her heritage.

But she loved them both dearly, and Zack was so sweet to come all this way to help her move.  She just wished they weren't so dependent on her.

Fortunately, they were only staying long enough to get her settled and then they would head back to the States, where they would finally be free to date each other openly instead of sneaking around.

Zack had been Raina's best guy friend for as long as Mika had been her best girl friend, but Mika was forbidden from dating until she graduated, so Raina had become her straight friends' beard so they could date without dating.

Raina couldn't wait to be free of their weird relationship and hoped she might even find herself a real boyfriend.

She finally flagged down a taxi and as Zack helped load her luggage, Raina shocked her cabby with her flawless Korean while giving him the address for Seoul University's main campus and their co-ed dormitory.

She was pretty sure their cab driver took the "scenic" route to her new home away from home when it took them twice as long to arrive as what she had read in her information packet from the University.

But she left it alone when they arrived and she was swept up in her excitement to find her room and meet her new roommates.

Her acceptance letter said she would be rooming with two upper class men and one roommate that had yet to be determined.

Once the taxi was unloaded and paid, the trio of Americans made their way to the registration office to receive her key and directions to her dorm.

By the time she made it into her building and up to her room, she and her friends were winded and their arms felt like jelly.

Raina knocked first, then without an answer she let herself and her friends into what was, essentially, an apartment with a small kitchen and living area, two bedrooms and a shared bathroom.

After dropping all her luggage on the floor and looking around a moment, she turned to Mika and squealed as the hugged and danced in a circle.

"OH MY GOD ITS SO CUTE!!!!"  Mika exclaimed.

"Yeah yeah, it's great. Now can we find your room so we can put your shit in there and go get some food?" Zack groused as his stomach let out a very audible rumble in agreement.

"Hahaha, yeah. They said I'm in room two, so this way you big baby."

They grabbed her stuff and trudged into her assigned room to find someone else's luggage was sitting on one of the two beds in it.

"Guess your other roommate has been chosen." Mika stated as they set everything on the empty bed.

"I gue-ahh!!!!" Raina began before being unceremoniously tossed over Zack's shoulder like a sack of potatoes and carried from her room.

"PUT ME DOWN YOU ASS!!!!"

"Nope! Cuz you'll start unpacking and forget to feed me."

"Heehee, he's not wrong." Mika laughed.

But at the sight of the three Korean men who had just entered, Zack stopped dead before releasing his own scream and dropping Raina.

"YOU BIT ME!!! ON THE ASS!!!! AGAIN!!!!!"

The three men who just entered all raised their eyebrows in curiosity while the tallest of the three began to laugh.

" Damn straight I did. I told you to put me down, and you would have thought that after the first couple of times I had bitten your ass for doing that, you would have learned not to do that." She huffed back at him ignoring the three strangers.

Mika re-entered the living area laughing at her best-friend and boyfriend's usual antics.

Raina finally turned to the three men she assumed she was going to be living with and switched to Korean.

"Sorry you had to see that. I'm Raina and these are my friends Zack and Mika.  They're just here for a few days to help me move in." She introduced herself and her friends each waved as they heard their names.

"Hello, my name is Namjoon, I'm in room one with Hoseok and this is our friend Yoongi. He lives across the hall. But our friends call me RM, Yoongi is Suga, and Hoseok is Hobi." The tallest one with bleached hair and a sexy undercut replied in flawless English as he introduced the short guy with mint hair as Suga and the human ball of sunshine that was vibrating in excitement as Hobi.

As he finished, two more men showed up. One with broad shoulders, full lips, and beautiful brown eyes. The other was slightly shorter with lightened brown hair, pouty lips that formed a box when he smiled, and face made beautifully imperfect with a single monolid eye and two adorable moles on the tip of his nose and under one eye.

"Its a pleasure to meet you, and thanks for introducing yourselves in English. I've been translating for these two all day."

"Yep and we are starving, so can we PLEASE go find some food." Zack butted in causing everyone to chuckle.

"We were about go eat ourselves, we just stopped in to see if the new girl wanted to join us. You're more than welcome to come along." Yoongi responded.

"That would save us some time in finding a place, so why not. And my roommate isn't here, the place was empty when we came in."

"No problem, I'll text her and let her know where we're going so she can join us if she wants. Suga, why don't you invite Jin and your new roommate and his friend too?" Hobi replied.

Suga nodded and walk off a little to the side to make his call.

"Damn, if all the men here look like those 5, I'm staying here with you." Mika mumbled into Raina's ear.

"I know right?" She whispered back.

"You know,  we can hear you." Zack grumbled while pouting at his girlfriend.

"What's your point?" Raina asked batting her eyes in false innocence.

When she caught the broad shouldered man's eye he winked at her and blew a kiss to them, making the two girls burst into a fit of laughter.

"This is two of my roommates. Jin rooms with me and  Taehyung shares the second room with Jimin. I guess Jimin is showing his friend, Jungkook, around campus. He's still got a year of high school before he can attend here, but he came along to help Jimin move and will probably be around a lot." Suga introduced the two new faces and told them who Raina and her friends were.

"Ha Ni met up with some friends, so you'll just have to meet her later." Hobi stated as all of them headed out of the room, "Good news though, my girlfriend is bringing her roommates with her too."

By the time they reached the nearest cafe, Raina felt like she had known the five men she just met for years.  She had been dreading having to live so far from home and her friends, but now she felt like everything was going to be okay.
