Chapter 25

Raina jolted to consciousness, gasping for air and searching her surroundings. As her vision cleared, she registered that she was in a hotel room, laying next to the man that she agreed to be married to. Then she realized that the nightmare she had was actually real.

"Babe, are you okay?" Her husband asked in his low, rough, and sexy as hell morning voice.

"Yeah, just a bad dream. I'm fine though, so let's just get some more sleep, it's just a little past 1."

"Alright, but come here and let me hold you. I promise to get rid of your bad dreams." Yoongi reached out for her and only settled back into sleep once she allowed herself to be wrapped up in his arms with her head laying on his chest.

Unfortunately, she knew there was no going back to sleep for herself. So as soon as she was sure Yoongi had gone back to sleep, she very carefully extracted herself from his arms and slipped out of bed.

She felt fortunate that their parents had split the cost to put them in one of the suites, because it had a seperate bedroom and she wouldn't have to worry about waking Yoongi as she dressed in her workout gear and headed to the hotel's gym.

It was only after she had done 3 sets on each piece of equipment that she made her way back to the suite.

Raina opened the door very cautiously, hoping Yoongi was still asleep......

"WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN!?!?!? I ALMOST CALLED OUR PARENTS WHEN I WOKE UP AND YOU WERE GONE!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED I HAVE BEEN?!?!?"

Yoongi stomped his way over to his wife, but his steps faltered when her eyes flew wide open with fear and panic as she backed away from him and fell, cowering, to the floor.

Slowly he made out her rapid mumbling.
"I'msorryI'msorryI'msorryI'msorry please don't hurt me again, please please please please not again...."

She had wrapped her arms around her legs, ducked her head into her knees, and began rocking herself as kept repeating everything over and over.

Did he do this to her? Is all of this from the one time her choked her? As she broke out in body wrenching sobs, he caught some words that cleared his conscience, but made him wonder what had happened to his brave, self assured, spitfire of a wife.

"I swear I won't tell Jin, just please let me go....."

He quietly went to her side and squatted down with the intent to comfort her, but the moment he touched her, she flew into a blind panic. Raina's eye were wide open with tears streaming down, but they didn't register her surroundings. She was lost in some kind of nightmare playing out in her mind.

She did everything she could to escape the threat only she could see.

Yoongi decided to sit on the floor against the door and wait for her to either calm herself down or tire herself out.

After close to an hour of waiting, he noticed that while her breathing was broken up with little gasps from crying, his wife had cried herself to sleep.

Yoongi carefully lifted her into his arms, bridal style, and immediately noticed that not only was she drenched in sweat, but she had lost a significant amount of weight.

"What in the hell did they do to you my sweet angel?" He whispered against her temple as he carried her to the bedroom and gently lay her in their bed.

It was when he was taking her sweats and shoes off that he found the cuts and bruises that covered over 75% of her body.

With each new wound he found, the temperature of his blood got hotter and hotter until he reached a boiling point.

It took everything in him to lightly cover her and not wake her up.

He quietly closed the bedroom door, and began pacing angrily back and forth until he decided to call Jin for an explanation.

"Jin-hyung, I need to speak with you...
Okay, finish picking her up, then come straight here, it's urgent........ Yeah, we're in the same hotel, 10th floor, suite 2......
Thanks hyung, I'll see you soon."

After hanging up, Yoongi gathered up Raina's dirty clothes and set out a robe and a couple of towels in the restroom so she could take a shower as soon as she wakes up. Hopefully before Jin gets there with his girlfriend from the states.
