Piers POV:

Marnie takes my hand and I grasp onto hers tightly giving her a reassuring look before sprinting towards the flying taxi station. I'm running as fast as I can pulling my sister along with me, we pass a few abandoned buildings we use in the gym challenge as we move closer to our destination. Looking back I see Marnie struggling a bit behind me but I push on, the exercise is good for her. Thankfully the main door is open and I can see the flying taxi station in the distance. The driver seems to be closing up for the night so I take a chance and call out to him.

"Wait!!!" *huff* "Can we grab a ride to Hulbury, somethins come up and we gotta get there tonight!" I sputter as we arrive at the station. The driver looks at me and Marnie a bit annoyed.

"Aww geez, you know we close at 9. He stares at us for a moment before sighing "Lucky for you two I live in Turffield, how about I take you there. It'll at least get you close enough to walk." The driver says scratching his head.

"That's close enough we can walk from there, right?" I look at Marnie and she leers at me but nods her head yes. "I'll pay ya double for ya troubles, thank ya very much."

"Well just hop in and we'll be in Turffield in no time." The driver says with a grin.

We get in the carriage and Marnie leans her head back panting from the exercise. I look down at my pocket to grab my phone when I notice something with Marnie's outfit.

"Hey sis, ya know ya got on two different socks right?" I snicker.

She looks at me confused for a second before ducking down checking her legs. She tucks one further down into her boot and pulls the other almost to her knee.

"There now it's style." She says confidently.

I laugh at her antics as I open my phone tapping on my messaging app and clicking on Nessa's name. Thinking about what to write I realize I don't know where to tell her to meet us at. I look up to Marnie asking where she wants to eat.

"Where do ya want to eat at once we get to Hulbury? We should grab somethin fastish."

"Maybe Mac Donald's then. I still don't know why we are goin, but I least now I know where we're goin." She says finally catching her breath.

"Mhm that's fine with me. Ya know if ya quit smokin ya wouldn't be so out of breath after just a little run." I say ruffling her hair.

*Ughhh* She groans at me as she pulls out her phone to fix her hair.

I look back at my phone finally able to text Nessa where to meet up at, and roughly what time to meet. I be sure to mention to bring Sonia along with her before closing my phone. I feel it buzz but I don't bother to check what she said, I just look to my left at my little sister her hair blowing in the wind.

Marnie POV:

I look ahead to see the lights adorning the Turffield stadium and prepare myself for the landing grasping onto the rails. After thanking the driver me and bro begin our walk to Hulbury. My legs are killing me as we make it to the small tunnel outside the town, we spot the Mac Donald's and head through the doors. I check the time on my phone it reads 10:04 p.m. my brother taps me on my shoulder pulling my attention away from the phone.

"What do you want?" He asks pulling out his wallet.

"Can you just get some chicken nuggets and fries with a cola to drink." I state looking back at my phone once more.

"Ok, but how bout we get you a water instead and you go and grab the booth to the left of the door?" He says patting my head and walking up to the counter.
