*Cry* (Ao Haru Ride)

~ Chapter 4 ~

( Hikari's POV )

I'm sitting at my seat while Yuuri-chan and me were talking about some random things.

When suddenly, the door to our classroom opens. Then it shocked me. I saw Tanaka-kun.......... then he turned his head to me and we made an eye contact. But I quickly look away with a sad face and at the same time, blushing.

"Ohayo, Mabuchi!" The man said and they started to chat.

"Hikari-chan, are you listening?" I quickly turned my head to her and nodded my head, and she started to talk again.

Until the bell rang and the class started.

Lunch time~

'Wow, I never noticed that Tanaka-kun will be in the same class as I am...' I thought as me and Yuuri-chan were heading to the canteen.

When we're on the canteen, I buy some melon bread and others. "That will be 435 yen." The woman said.

"Oh sorry, is it okay if it doesn't have a plastic? If you want I'll just grab some.." she said but I stop her.

"Uhmm, it's okay. I'll just carry it.." I said with a smile and then paid.

But before I could go, the other woman grab my wrist.

"Where do you think you're going? You didn't even pay it, don't you?" She said. "Oh, I already just paid it..." I said. But she interrupted me. "Don't deny it, why does it haven't a plastic?" She asked. "Oh, well....." I said but someone interrupted me again. "She already paid for it.." I look at my left and saw Tanaka-kun.

"Hey, oba-chan! She already paid for those, right?" He asked the other woman from earlier. "Oh, yeah. She already paid those, but we ran out of plastic." She said while grabbing a pack of new plastic.

"Ehh?? Is that so? Okay, you can go now.." the other woman said and let go of my wrist.

'Wait, what?! How rude!' I thought as I was about to cry.

"Hey, old hag. I think you need to apologize for what you did. After all, you're the one who made a mistake...." Tanaka-kun said bluntly. I know that it made the woman angry. And with that, "Gomenasai...." the woman said and continued to work.

Tanaka-kun suddenly walk away. "Uhmm, Yuuri-chan, you can go to the classroom without me.. I just forgot something to do...." I said and started to run after him.

"Tanaka-kun!" I shouted and he turned his face on me. "Didn't I tell you that I'm not Tanaka anymore?" He said a little annoyed. "Oh....... umm, I just wanted to thank you for earlier.." I said and look away. "No need to thank me. I just do that because she's wrong.." he said. 'So he did that not because for me?..... wait, what am I thinking? Of course he wouldn't help me...' I thought and walk away.

My chest hurts every time he did something like that for me.....I wonder why......I wonder why is he doing it to me.......

The bell suddenly rang, signaling us to go back to our classrooms.

Time skipped...

The class ended. All the students were going out of the classroom except me and Yuuri-chan. "Hikari-chan, are you sure you don't want to go home with me?" She asked while fixing her things. "Uhm, I'll be fine! Thank you for asking though..." I said as I smiled a little. She smiled back and said, "then, I'll be going now. Bye Hikari-chan!" She said and wave at me, as I wave back with a smile.

I just sat there in silence and in thought.

'Did I do something wrong to Tanaka-kun? Why did he change so much? Is it because of me? I really want the real Tanaka-kun..... I want him to came back..for me....

Why does it hurt so much?......... I don't know...but, I really like Tanaka-kun. No... I love him..... but nothing even started yet, and the game was over.....I didn't even explain to him, what had happen THAT day....' I thought.

I didn't realize that I was already crying. I touch my cheeks, as my eyes widened. 'I really DO love him... but why......why is he doing it to me.?...' I thought as I cry harder.

'I miss him.... I really miss him!....' I thought.

I was crying for who knows how long. And I still can't stop crying. It's not really my personality, but Tanaka-kun was the one who make me like this....

"Miyamoto-san?..." I turned my head towards the voice and saw Tanaka-kun at the door. His eyes widened as he saw that I'm crying. My eyes also widened. I quickly wiped my tears and quickly stands up and grab my bag.

I quickly walk towards the door, but before I can go out, He grabbed my arm to make me stop, but I still didn't look at him.

"Who makes you cry?..." he silently asked. I didn't answered and didn't move. "Answer me. Who made you cry...?" He ask once again. "It's non of your business.... And why do you care? You just said to me that you don't care for me, right?" I said as I look very angry at him while he is shocked at my answer.

He finally let go of my arm and I finally have the manage to run away.

I run until I found the shrine. I walk inside and finally fall on my knees.

And I started to cry really hard. What can I do? He makes me feel like this, but he's not the one to suspect.... it's actually also my fault....

I still love him, then and now.. but he's not in love with me anymore....

Am I a bad person?....

I changed, also because of him... but my feelings will never change...

I Loved him, And I will always be.....

( Third Person's POV )

Hikari is crying all her heart out. But she didn't noticed, that there was a boy. A year younger than her, and attends the same school as hers... who's watching her with pity.

"She's really hurt.... by the one she loves the most......" he said as he continued to watch her.

After a few minutes, Hikari finally manage to stand slowly, but when she was about to go out of the shrine, she passed out.

The boy is still watching her and he catches Hikari before she fell on the floor.

The boy finally saw the really cute face of Hikari and blushed. He carried her, bridal style and he walked towards their home.

The boy finally reached his house and went inside. He open his door room and put Hikari on the bed. 'She must've fainted because of crying too much...' He thought as he sat on the chair near the bed.

'Why do I feel like this? I didn't even know her... but I think she really needs help..' the blonde hair man thought.

'I have a feeling that I want be by her side....to protect her....... ' he thought once again as he watched Hikari to sleep peacefully.

"Wait, her uniform........ she's going in the same school as mine?" The blonde whispered as he saw her uniform.

"I wonder what's her name might be......" He said.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. "Huh? Who might that be...?" He said as he stands up and walk to the door. When he open the door, he saw his best friend, Uchimiya Haruhiko.

"Oh, Haruhiko, what's up?" The blonde said. "Oh, you already forgot? You said you're gonna teach about tomorrow's quiz, right?" Haruhiko said. "Oh yeah. Sorry, I forgot..." the blonde said as he scratched the back of his head.

"It's okay... but geez, why do we need to have a quiz on our third day of classes?" Haruhiko whinned as they walk into the living room.

The blonde chuckled and let the man to whinned more.

Time skipped...

"Hey, why are we in the living room? Why don't we have this on your room? Like we always do?" Haruhiko asked. "O-oh...w-well...y-you see.." the blonde didn't finished his sentence when his best friend suddenly opens the door and his eyes widened.

"T-touma.... why is there..?" Haruhiko asked.
