"I'm home-"
Hyunjin cut herself off as soon as the smell of what seemed like smoke filled the walls of the apartment.
Curious, she went to the kitchen to find the cause of the smoke, only to find Jiwoo trying to clear the smoke that was coming from the stove. It looked bad but atleast she was able to find a solution of not burning the house up.
"Did you just learn from Chaewon or?"
"No, our stove suddenly broke! We have to buy a new one!" Jiwoo said as she pouted at the food she was trying to cook.
Hyunjin hummed, "I'll get us something to eat. The usual?" Jiwoo didn't want to protest, all they need is something to eat to finish their day. But it was getting dark outside and she knows how dangerous their place could get especially at the said time.
It took a few seconds before Hyunjin saw her roommate nod before following the words, "Be careful."
The younger smiled and grabbed her jacket from the coat rack before leaving the apartment.
The fast food chain was just a walking distance from their apartment, making it easy for Hyunjin to come back early without getting hurt by a drunk person who just happen to pass by. It happened many times, but now that she's alone, all she could do was having her fingers crossed.
The place was almost empty, as usual. It was surprising to see a fast food chain near their place, especially when it's nearly abandoned. It might as well close by the end of the year.
Hyunjin ordered what they usually do when they eat in the place. She scanned for an empty seat while waiting for the order, even if there weren't many people inside the area.
She sighed and grabbed her phone to text her roommate, not until she heard a familiar voice that made her look up from her business.
It was the boy from the arcade earlier, Yeosang as for what she can remember. Hyunjin didn't tear off her gaze at the black haired boy as he genuinely smiled at the cashier, thinking that they know each other.
She froze when their eyes met. Hyunjin could've been mistaken for being a stalker or so. However, that was not the case.
Yeosang recognized her as he payed the cashier before approaching Hyunjin's seat.
"You're the girl I bumped into, right?"
Hyunjin widened her eyes and followed a nod right after.
The boy nodded and surprisingly bowed, "Sorry again, my bestfriend was pushing me to the claw machine and I didn't notice you in there." Hyunjin kept her eyes widened.
She didn't expect him to be so respectful, right when he only said a minimal sorry back in the arcade.
"It's okay, you didn't have to apologize." She said, earning a smile from the boy who soon gave his attention to the fast food waiter who gave Hyunjin her orders.
She muttered a "thank you" to the worker before turning her gaze back to the boy.
"Until next time, I guess..."
"Yeah, I hope she'll meet you though." Hyunjin was confused, but she didn't mind the boy's statement as she grabbed the bag and stood up, exiting the fast food chain without turning back to check if Yeosang was looking at her.
"What did those words mean?"

It was finally enrolment day, although Haseul will have a longer process since she's a transferee.
