It's been days since the events from the Jeon household happened.

The moment they spent in the roof, as millions of stars shined above them was unforgettable. Even despite the temporary happiness it'll give in the end.

Hyunjin would pay constant visits, and would usually inform Heejin of the events that had happened in her day.

Sometimes she would even treat her something that her girlfriend wanted and would take it with her when she sneaks inside the house.

Their school year was about to end, those who have incomplete requirements are the ones who are suffering for the last week.

Luckily for the two of them, they didn't have to worry about anything anymore. Despite being absent for quite a long time, Heejin was able to catch up with the requirements she needed to pass before the school year ends.

And finally, the last day of their nightmares had come. All of them know that their college days would be another step in their journey, and of course they have to study harder to keep themselves at the top.

Hyunjin lets out a groan, sitting across Haseul in the noisy canteen, just like the old days.

"It's your free time?" The older asks, sipping on her precious juice box like she always does every time they visit that canteen.

Hyunjin nodded, putting a pile of books in front of her, blocking Haseul from her view.

Haseul peeked her head to get a better view of the younger due to the books that were serving as a barrier between them, "Hey, what's up?"

"I'm protecting myself from your drink."

"But I'm not even doing anything!" Haseul exclaimed, as the younger started giggling, removing the pile of books in front of her. She just wanted to tease the older for a bit.

Hyunjin has always become paranoid when it comes to Haseul drinking her juice box. That time she would spit her drink towards her when she happens to be surprised by a certain topic.

All she could do know was to wish a good luck to Vivi.

"So, how are you and your girlfriend." The older asked and soon showed a smirk as she drank her juice box. Hyunjin didn't miss the fact that Haseul emphasized the word "girlfriend" in it.

"Why'd you ask? Are you perhaps jealous that you and Vivi-unnie aren't that sweet?"

With that being said, Haseul furrowed her eyebrows and stopped sipping on her juice, "What do you mean by that? Can you not see us when we went to the mall the other day?"

"So you admit that you two acted like an old married couple back there?" Hyunjin quirked an eyebrow at the older, as she enjoyed teasing her. But after seeing the older's constant glares, she did fear about the consequences of getting apple juice all over on her again.

Hyunjin started laughing, or in this case, nervously, "Nevermind what I said, scratch that off."

"You love teasing people just to see their reaction, don't you?"

Hyunjin nods, pointing at the older girl, "You got that one right, unnie."

In fact, Haseul wouldn't mind even a single bit if she were to be teased all day by the younger. As long as she feels like doing it, she wouldn't complain about it.

After all, she did meet her through online and nothing else followed after that. She didn't know much about her, but was worried that Hyunjin would accidentally stumble upon a pedophile while talking to strangers online.

Haseul knows for a fact that she was a stranger at that point, that could also be a pedophile because of how dangerous it is lately when talking to someone on the internet.

She was glad that they met each other.

Haseul returns the smile and started to sip on her beloved drink again, thinking if she should tell Hyunjin about what happened recently.

She shook her head, putting down the empty juice box to talk to the younger, "Heejin moved back to the apartment, if you don't know yet."

Hyunjin widened her eyes, "But her condition..."

"She didn't tell us about it though, and that just proves that her family is useless." Haseul didn't fail to notice the change in Hyunjin's expression. She had never seen her this serious, or maybe drowning into her deep thoughts. It somewhat worries her.

"I want to do something to help her."

Those words came out of Hyunjin's mouth as if they were nothing. It was the fact that behind those smiles that they share would be a complete darkness. There's no way she could return from the past once its too late. She has to contribute, and she knows that she can.

The eldest opened her mouth, on her way to say something, when the bell interrupted their conversation, making both of them sigh and bid each other goodbye.

Hyunjin crouched to pick up the pile of books she brought with her, and made her way towards the exit of the canteen. They weren't that heavy, so she suppose that she could bring them to the library without struggling with her life just by carrying those books.

Until one of the books lost its balance from the stack, causing it to fall down and slip on the floor. Hyunjin knows how stupid she was for not bringing a bag to store them in.

She sighed, putting the books down in attempt to grab the book that had fallen down, when suddenly, she spotted someone grabbing it for her.

That person scanned through the book, almost ignoring Hyunjin's presence, who was standing in front of him. He lets out a deep breath, closing the book to look at the girl in front.

"I didn't know you were into books, Hyun."

Hyunjin groaned in frustration, reaching out to grab the book from the boy's hand.

"You're still the same Hyunjin I know, how adorable." The boy continued, as he raised the book even up high, which was unreachable for the girl's case.

"Give it back, Hyunjoon!"

The boy chuckles, as he lowered his arm and reached out to give it to the girl, "Here."

Hyunjin snorted, looking at the book and took a hold of it, trying to grab it out of Hyunjoon's hand. The boy noticed how desperate the girl was from trying to get the book from his hand, and it caused him to give a smirk, pulling the book towards him, alongside Hyunjin who was still holding it.

It was happening all over again.

Here is Hyunjoon again with his dirty little games. Ones that she always hated and feel uncomfortable with. She doesn't know how to get out of this situation, knowing that mostly all of the students are stuck inside their respective classrooms now.

"It was nice to see you back in the hospital, too bad those people decided to interrupt us." He whispered in her ear, causing the girl to shiver, and started to lament her luck.

"You know, I have a lot of plans with you."

With that being said, Hyunjin took courage and pushed Hyunjoon with all of her might, grabbing the book with her and picked up the stack that she left on the floor.

She ran away from Hyunjoon, hoping that she won't stumble upon him inside the library.

Hyunjin knows that he won't leave her alone, and she feared the consequences of what she had done in the past.
