"Shit!"
I felt like my soul left my body when I looked at my phone.
It's already 9:30, and I have a meeting at 10:30.
I forgot about the meeting last night and spent the rest of the night watching black clover.
I can't stop myself from clicking "Next Episode." I hate myself, and now I have to prepare within a 5-minute time frame!
I took a bath. It was faster than usual. I didn't bother to eat, but I made sure to supply my body with caffeine (coffee is life, ya'll). I didn't have the time to plan my outfit so what I see is what I wear.
Look at those dark circles y/n...
I need to put on these creams to look fresh. I don't want them to see me looking like a zombie.
I suddenly heard my phone ringing.
"Who's this?"
"Hi! Y/N This is Yeri. I'm sorry I had to call you, but everyone is looking for you now."
Yeri-san is my friend. She's like a sister to me. She's working with the Director of the anime studio I'm having a meeting with.
"Yeri-san, I'm so sorry. I overslept. But I'm all set now. I'll be there in 10 minutes."
"Okay. Got it. I will inform them."
At exactly 10:00, I arrived at the venue of the meeting. Thank God the road was clear. I didn't have to deal with the traffic.
"Goodmorning, sensei!"
"Goodmorning!"
Ohh... I somehow miss working.
"Y/N san, your meeting is on the 3rd floor, the first conference room to your left."
"Thank you!"
I somehow felt nervous about this meeting. I don't know why. This shouldn't be a problem.
I am a manga creator. I've been in this work for... I don't know, maybe 4 years. I'm sorry my memory is not cooperating.
I have produced best-selling mangas. They all had anime adaptations. I don't understand why a lot of people like my stories. I kill important characters to hurt my readers. I make villains hot, etc. Kidding! I mean... this funds my needs, so I have to work my ass off.
This meeting I'm attending is for the anime adaptation of the manga I finished a year ago. They want me to discuss the things needed as well as the seiyuu for the characters. The anime is in the post-production phase. So we're going to focus more on the dubbing part. Manga creators aren't usually involved in the whole process of the anime adaptation because we're too busy with the manga itself. Since I'm not really busy and I'm done with the publication of my other manga, they invited me to discuss it.
I arrived at the conference room. We started the meeting right away. We discussed the whole process, which I don't have a problem with, and as for the casting...
"Y/N, you have someone in your mind you want to voice for your main characters?"
Please don't ask me that...
