Miyano Mamoru - You're Kidding Right? Part 1

A tall — middle-aged man is running around inside an apartment on a rainy morning... chased by a woman who looks like she's ready to slaughter with her broomstick.

Mamo-chan finds his way to your bedroom and closed the door. Fortunately, you were able to control your speed or else... you could've slammed your face against the door.

"I swear to God Mamo-chan.... I SWEAR TO GOD" You exclaimed angrily.

"THAT'S BAD Y/N-CHAN WHY WOULD YOU SWEAR AT GOD?" the man behind the door responded.

Your eyes widened as soon as you heard what he said.

Oh God, the war is on Mamo-chan...

You said in your thoughts.

Why were you chasing him? Simple. He did not attend to the meeting he was supposed to attend to for the "Free" seiyuu event this Saturday. Instead, he went home and slept.

This is not the first time. However, producers are not complaining since he goes to the event and makes it more lively.

People likes him very much!

But it's not like it's going to be forever... Producers or even directors might be troubled about his behavior and decide not to cast him or invite him anymore.

As his manager, you don't want that to happen. It's not like you're worried because you might get fired but you're worried about him. You've been his manager for almost 6 years and you know how much he loves his job. It will be devastating if he'll lose it.

You don't want to see him miserable.

You can't just understand why he suddenly became like this? Skipping important meetings and auditions... He's lucky, people still want him. You've been called by the management of Himawari Theatre group about Mamo's absences for so many times. You have no choice but to make excuses for him. You've asked him if there's something wrong... the only answer you got was a lame joke.

"Why are you slacking off? What's the problem? Do you know you could get yourself fired?"

"Cool. I'll be hotter than usual."

You actually considered on quitting — but you can't and you don't even know why.

"I won't be having dinner here. Cook for yourself!" You shouted and threw them broomstick you were holding.

Seconds passed, the door opened. Mamo-chan leaned against the door frame and raised an eyebrow at you.

"And where are you going?" He asked.

The truth is, you don't know where to go.

"Somewhere... far here." you said and raised an eyebrow at him too.

His facial expression changed. He looked irritated.

He went and sat on the sofa. "You know that I can't cook?" he said. He reached for the tv remote and turned the tv on

"I got tired dealing with your bullshits. I don't think I can even cook rice right now. You can just order."

After you said that, you went to your room to change. You are troubled. You are regretting why you said you're eating somewhere else when you have nowhere to go... but you have to teach him a lesson.

"Cook me something before you leave!!"  Mamo-chan shouted.

You didn't bother to answer. He always think about himself.

You got on your jacket, you have your car keys, your bag and other important stuff. You thought of crashing at your grandma's house somewhere in Shizuoka, it's a 2-hour drive but you can handle it and comeback here the day after tomorrow since it's your day off, and Mamo-chan don't have schedules for tomorrow so... it's a day off get away!
