"How long will this take!?" She screamed, annoyed. At a gasoline station, they had to stop at, for Soobin had to take a dump."Oh god! What did you eat to make your shit smell like that!?!" Walking out of the Male's public bathroom, Taehyun shouted while covering his nose and walked toward her. She was looking away and a bit farther to be able to hear their conversation.
"I know I am overreacting, and I should just talk to him. I should try to fix this, but it's so hard to trust him after he lied..." She thought out loud as her thoughts dashed into the clouds. She suddenly felt a hand touch her left shoulder. She shivered as a painful tickle traveled down her spine. Tiny muscles flexing in her skin that made hair follicles rise a bit. Her heart blasted, popping on each beat slowly but loudly.
"Hey," Taehyun's voice, his voice that made her halt but slowly calmed her nerves. "Oh, Taehyun, is Soobin finally done?" "Uh, not yet, but I heard you."
"Huh?" She tilted her head as she asked. "Sorry, I didn't mean to-" he replied.
"Was I thinking out loud," she realizes very late. "Sorry about that." He shook his head from left to right and asked, "You don't need to answer me but is it the first time he lied?" She nods, "Everyone makes mistakes, Y/N. Maybe try to give it one more shot?" Silence took over as her thoughts swallowed her.
He isn't wrong, it was the first time Jungguk was dishonest, but his big lie cut a deep hole inside my heart. He lied about himself, which makes me question him, doubt my love for him. Will I be willing to set this aside? What if the Jungguk I fell in love with never existed? I don't think I can handle much pain. I don't want to get hurt in the end.
"Think about it, kay." He taps her shoulder once again and gave her space by going towards the car.
Taehyun may have talked to her with a smile, but deep down he felt stupid. "Idiot," he called himself, "why did I say that?" He knew that this was his chance to win her heart, but he couldn't help it. Seeing her so helpless and drowning in her tears that she refuses to let out made him act without thinking. "If only I could turn back the time, I would act more like a man with balls than a creep."

Taehyun's Pov
(Play song)
I am inside Emperor Kim's Bookstore. The hood of my hooded sweatshirt covering my head and sitting on a tall chair by the bar table. A woman with a simple white shirt tucked in high-waisted jeans and an oversized cotton jacket to top it all up.
She flipped through the first few pages of The Hunger Games' latest book "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" by Suzanne Collins. I have read that book quite recently about the account of Panem's failed revolt during the 'Dark Days.' I stared at her as she quietly read.
