Nessa sat on her bed, debating if she should text Josh or not. She really wanted to talk to him, but she was so nervous and didn't even know what to start with. She sat on her bed, staring at her the wall, going over all the pros and cons.
After 30 minutes of debating if she should, she decides to stop being a coward, and just text him. She grabbed her phone, typing in the number before texting.

Josh Richards "Come back here," Bryce yelled, after Cassie as the two of them ran around the house, playing tag. Josh was sitting on the couch next to Griffin who doing his college homework. Anthony was upstairs playing video games with Jaden while Mads, Avani, and Addison were out having a girl's night.
Although it looked as if Josh was watching the game, his thoughts were consumed by something else. Rather yet someone else Nessa he wondered if he went too far by asking for her number. He felt as if he just lost his chance with her by making a move too quickly. Not to mention the fact she already knew about him having a child which was probably her biggest deal-breaker about him. That had happened a lot when Josh was talking to a girl they would find out he had a child and get scared off. He just hoped Nessa wasn't going to be the same.
Josh's thoughts were cut by ding meaning he had had a notification. He grabbed his phone from his back pocket. Josh looked at his phone confused seeing a text from an unknown number he text back.

A huge grin grew on my face as I looked over the text between me and Nessa. I couldn't believe it I was taking Nessa on a date on Friday.
"What's got you in such a happy mood?" Bryce says making my lookup. He had Cassie on his back laughing as he spun her around.
"I'm taking Nessa on a date this Friday," I admit looking up towards Bryce.
"You mean the waitress you were crushing over at lunch today?" Bryce questions as I nod my head.
"Yes, the waitress but Nessa is also the girl who found Nessa at the beach," I object as Bryce laughs at me putting Cassie down.
"Dada, do you, Ike Ness?" Cassie asks, making my eyes go wide. "Uh... yeah baby but don't worry no one could ever replace you. You will always be the most important girl in my life," I reassure her.
"I ike her too dada. Can Ness be my new mama?" she asked making me go wide-eyed.
"Uhh. I don't know Cassie but hopefully one day," I tell he as she smiles at me giving me a hug. I was glad Cassie liked Nessa it would be that much easier to not have to worry about that on our date on Friday.
