The magic of soulmates was a powerful thing in the world. In both, the muggle and magical world. How you find your soulmate is different for everyone. Everyone has said the same thing though. When your soulmate connection kicks in it's an overwhelming feeling. A warm feeling in your chest that feels like a bomb waiting to go off.
Many people knew they were soulmates when they met. Some get unlucky. Some meet their soulmates before they die.
You'll understand what I'm talking about later.

Belladonna Garcia Gonzalez has had a difficult but successful life so far. She was adopted at the age of thirteen after her parents died in a car crash. After she was adopted her new parents forced her to change her last name. Although she didn't really mind it. That way she didn't have a reminder of her now dead parents.
She loved them dearly. It felt like a stab to the chest when they died. After their death she decided to put her focus into her studies. She ended up graduating early and decided to go to medical school. After she graduated she found out her adoptive parents were moving from America to England she decided to join them. Afterall being only seventeen and still looking for a job doesn't really help out much.
Her parents bought a two bedroom flat. She was now sitting in her room at her desk. She was currently searching the internet for a job at any local hospitals. She graduated top of her class at med school. Despite being able to become a doctor she just wanted to be a nurse. It would keep her busy, allowing her to forget the hole in her heart. Forget that the two most wonderful people in the world were now gone and she couldn't find comfort in them.
Monday Morning:
"Bella! Lunch is ready!" her mom called. Yes she loved her adoptive parents but they couldn't replace her biological.
"Coming!"
She hit enter, submitting her application for a nursing position at St. Thomas Hospital. She then got up and stretched herself out. A feeling of relief came from her body as all of her stiff joints popped from being in the same position for hours.
She looked around her room taking in the lilac colored walls. She had a weird spunk for purple and lime green. She didn't know why. But her favorite color was still red. She shut her laptop before heading to the small kitchen, where her mom was waiting for her. Her dad left this morning for his first day at his new job.
"Any luck?" Her mom asked as she set down some grilled cheese and tomato soup for her daughter.
"Sent in a couple applications. Now I just have to wait." She replied before thanking her mom.
"You know you could always help out here at home." Her mother sold clothing online. She made just about anything from dresses to jeans.
"No mom. Besides we both know I couldn't sew if my life depended on it." the two laughed at that.
"Your eighteenth birthday is tomorrow. Are you excited?" Her mom asked as she got up and poured two cups of coffee.
"Y'know you might want to get used to drinking tea. Heard that's all the rage over here." the girl responded. She and her mother were very fond of their coffee. They would have tea occasionally. The mother shot her a teasing look before sitting back down.
"Have you thought of looking around the area? Getting a feel of the place?"
"Actually, yeah. I was going to go on a walk for a bit, do you want to come?" The daughter asked standing up.
"No thanks, I'm working on a custom order. It needs to be sent off by Wednesday."
"Okay." Bella responded as she went to her room to change. She shut the door and walked over to her dresser. She pulled out a pair of black ripped jeans and one of her favorite red shirts that said 'No need to repeat yourself. I ignored you just fine the first time.'. She slipped on a pair of high top sneakers she painted herself.
They had a midnight sky- galaxy themed background. But her favorite part was the fireworks. Sure when you look at it it looks like a bunch of paint got splattered on it. The fireworks were like the crazy chaotic side of her whereas the background was the calm and composed side.
She soon left the room and approached the front hallway closet. She pulled out her favorite leather jacket. When her biological mom had taught her how to sew when she was eight she used this leather jacket and sewed a bright purple Belladonna flower into the back of it.
Truth is Bella was actually really good at sewing. But she felt like it was a talent she could keep between her and her mom. So she never shared her talent with her current mom.
She bid her mom farwell and decided to take the stairs down to the main level. She had her phone in her back pocket along with her key to the flat. She stepped out onto the sidewalk and took a look at the brick street that surrounded her.
She remembered a small park she saw a couple blocks away and began walking towards it. It was a bright and sunny day, perfect temperature. It allowed her to think and enjoy the quiet. The park had a playset for kids and a large field It was almost in the center of Downtown London. She sat down on one of the benches' criss cross.
She did this every now and then. Wherever she could find a peaceful enough place. She placed her hands on her knees and closed her eyes.
Inhale
She listened to the sounds of children playing.
Exhale
The sound of the birds singing to each other.
Inhale
Couple talking about future plans.
Exhale
Dogs enjoying the outside air
She kept her breathing pattern this way carefully listing off different sounds before she went to smells.
Inhale
The grass.
Exhale
Dirt.
Inhale
Cinnamon.
Exhale
A light smoke scent.
Now she went onto things she could feel.
Inhale
The cold bench beneath her.
Exhale
The sun beaming down on her.
Inhale
The light gusts of wind.
Exhale
Someone silently sliding into the seat next to her. She paused. She slowly opened her eyes. Beside her sat a man. He was leaning back against the bench in a comfortable position. He had his eyes closed. He seemed to almost be matching the breathing pattern she was doing. He had a dull red business suit. The dress shirt underneath was orang. He had a dark purple tie on.
As if he felt her stare, he opened one eye.
" Hello, love."
