(Y/N)’s POV

I think I’ve finally made my decision. I know exactly who to pick. I have to head to her house right away. I can’t waste any time.

Yukina’s House, 8 PM

I knocked on the door to Yukina’s house. However, nobody answered the door, and the lights were off.

“Where in the hell is she?” I muttered. “I thought she was going to wait for me at 8 PM. So where is she?”

“(Y/N),” someone called out to me nearby. “Sorry that I’m late.”

Yukina-chan walked up to me, holding a bag of what appeared to be groceries. “I was out buying groceries, and I half-expected you not to show up, so I didn’t rush it.”

“Yukina, I came because I chose you.”
I said it sincerely, and Yukina’s eyes glowed with passion.

“You chose me? You really did? I…” Yukina began to shake a bit, and she began to cry.
It came as a shock to me, since Yukina hardly ever cries.
She has cried before, a while back, when her band was nearly torn apart thanks to a feud they had.

I took the bag of groceries from her hands and placed them on the sidewalk, and hugged her tightly.
Yukina sniffled and began to cry even more.

“You came to me,” she said, sobbing. “You do love me, then. I’m not upset, of course. I’m just really, really happy. This is so unlike me.”

“It’s okay, Yukina,” I assured her. “You can cry and let it all out.”

I looked at her, and she was wiping the tears off her face. I gave her a kiss on her cheek and held her hands.
“Got it? It’s okay now. It’s only you that I want, Yukina. You’re my own little kitten.”

“Really…? Then can we do something together…?” Yukina shyly asked me.

“Sure, we can,” I told her. “Lead the way!”

Yukina picked up the groceries on the sidewalk and we walked off together, to the place that she wants to take me to.

Later, at the Pet Park

Yukina took me to what appears to be a play area for pets.
Interestingly enough, despite it being about 8:30 PM, there’s still plenty of pet owners out and about here.
I guess with your pet, you’re technically safer at night when you walk home.

“So, why are we here, Yukina?” I asked. “Gonna watch the pet owners a bit?”

“No,” Yukina sternly replied. “We’re gonna pet a c-cat…
I wanted it to do it together with you, since you and I both like cats a lot, so we can get closer.”

Yukina waved to someone who was walking a cat, and they walked toward us.

I had no idea people walked cats, but I won’t question it.
Some people are weird. What kind of weird person would walk a cat?

“Hey, you two,” a familiar voice called out. “It’s fancy meeting you two at this time of night!”

It was the voice of Nanami, who was walking a cat.
Welp, that answers my question. Nanami is exactly the kind of character that I’d see walking a cat.

“You have a cat, Hiromachi-san?” Yukina asked her.

“This isn’t mine,” she laughed. “I have a part-time job as a cat walker!”

Yukina and I both looked at each other in confusion. Don’t question it.

“What a cute cat,” Yukina said, bending over to look at the cat. “May I pet it?”

Nanami nodded her head. “Go ahead!”

With that, Yukina gently patted the cat’s head, and it purred quietly.

“Yukina, the cat expert,” I said. “Well done.”

Yukina stood up. “But of course. Now, pet the cat, (Y/N).”

I bent down to pet the cat, but Yukina held me back all of the sudden.

“What?” I said. “You wanted me to pet the cat!”

Yukina reached into her grocery bag, and pulled out a headband that looked like a pair of cat ears.
She put it on, and looked at me cutely.
“This cat,” she said. “Pet me on the head. I’m your little kitten, and I want to be petted.”

My face turned bright red. This is all so sudden! But why? I mean, I’m not gonna complain.
I looked at Nanami, who was sitting at a nearby bench with her cat and gave me a thumbs-up and smiled.

I reached out to Yukina’s head and patted it. Her head is pretty soft. Her face is probably super-red right now, I can imagine it.

“Keep petting me…” Yukina told me. “Please…”

This isn’t getting weird, I hope.
It’s somewhat dark out, so the only other person who can see us is Nanami, luckily.
Or maybe, not so luckily. She’s going to tell everyone tomorrow about this, I guarantee it. Sigh…

Whatever, I’m really enjoying this. Yukina seems to be very happy right now, and so am I.

Roselia is an amazing band, and I’m proud of Yukina helping them come this far. I can finally go along with them as well.
As I finished patting Yukina on the head, Nanami came walking back to us.

“C’mon, you two. Let’s spend the night at my house,” she requested. “Touko will be there, too! It can be a sleepover!”

“That doesn’t sound half-bad,” I said. “How about you, Yukina?”

“Meow, meow-- I mean, I’d be happy to join in. As long as I’m with (Y/N), though.”
Yukina took off her cat ear headband and held my hand.

“You two are gonna love it tonight,” Nanami added. “I’m cooking. I might not have any experience with food, so this’ll be a treat!”

“Oh, boy. Can we buy something to eat at Yamabuki Bakery instead?” I whispered to Yukina.

“Good plan. You call her, they close at 9,” Yukina told me back.

“What’s that?” Nanami remarked. “You guys are gonna eat it, and you guys are gonna enjoy it!”

I laughed a bit. A sleepover with Yukina and my friends? I don’t mind at all.

I worked hard for this, and as long as Yukina and I are happy for a long time, then I’m absolutely fine with it.

After all, I love Yukina forever and ever, and I’ll continue loving her forever and ever.

THE END

(A/N): This author's note will be the same for all three endings, since it's important!
Thanks to everybody for reading to the end.
This was a tough process, but we're here! My next story could possibly take a while to come out. I'm pretty burned out at the moment.
It's quite different, but I hope to have many people enjoy it!
