Y/n's POV:

In the morning I woke up with Loki's arms wrapped around my waist pulling me into him and my face nuzzled into his chest. I felt so happy and safe in his arms. I started to shuffle awake more but he wouldn't let go of me. "Loki my love I have to get up" still no response. "Loki I know your awake I have spent enough time with you to see past your lies" "My my darling you are becoming the goddess of mischief and lies aren't you" "yes i am. Now let me up I have to go to the bathroom." "But darling I don't want too" "Too bad" and with that you slipped out of his arms and made your way to the bathroom. "Loveeeee" loki started to whine. "Loki just give me a few minutes and then we can snuggle to your heart's content" "finneee" loki grumbled.

After I used the bathroom I came back out to see Loki in the same position I had left him. I crawled under the covers and put my head down on his chest as he engulfed me into his arms. We stayed like this for about an hour before there was a knock at the door. "Ragnorak better be occurring for you to disturb me right now" Loki yelled. Then came a lady's voice. She sounded young and kind of scared like she was a servant. "M-my lord the k-king wished to speak with you" When Loki heard the girl he immediately felt bad and got up to apologize. He used his magic to put some clothes on and opened the door to see a young girl about 15. "My dear I'm so sorry for yelling. Can you find it in your heart to accept my apology?" "Of course my lord you have nothing to be apologizing for." spoke the servant girl. "What is your name?" "Erika my lord" the girl said so low if Loki didn't have super god like hearing he wouldn't have been able to hear it. "Well that is a beautiful name Erika. Which section do you work in?" "I mostly do the laundry for the castle or work on scrubbing the steps outside." "Well Erika I like you and I'm going to add you to my personal team of assistants. Would that be something you're interested in?" "Her face immediately lit up. "Yes yes yes oh thank you my lord." "Now that you will be my assistant please call me Loki" "Alright... Loki" "Go pack your stuff I will be moving you into a bigger room and I will let the head of your department know." "Thank you so much Loki" She gave him a big smile and was on her way. Loki came back into bed with a smile on his face. "That was very nice of you Loki. But may I ask why you did it?" "She has a good heart and deserves something better than cleaning the steps of doing laundry. Plus I've been looking for a new assistant. Father assigned the last one and he was incompatent." I laughed at this and gave him a peck on the lips. "Well she said my father wishes to speak with me so I must leave for a while darling" "Alright I'll get ready and do some reading." "Sounds wonderful my love. I should be back for lunch. Maybe we can go to the village to that one cafe for lunch?" "That sounds wonderful I will see you soon Loki" "See you soon my darling" and with that he left to see his father.

Loki's POV:

As I walked to the throne room I was putting all the scenarios of why father had wanted to see me. Did he know I kidnapped y/n? Or maybe he wanted to get me another assistant which I took care of this time. Or maybe it was for that joke I played last week on thor? Hmmm I wonder.

When I arrived at the throne room the guards opened it for me and I walked to the throne. I than kneeled "father" "rise" "you wished to speak with me?" "Yes I did. After some thinking I have decided you will be the next king of Asgard" "Me? What about Thor?" "You have always been the right choice for the throne. You are smart and think before you act. Thor just wants battles. Will you accept my offer?" "Umm...yes. Thank you father." "you may leave unless you wish to discuss something else with me" "As a matter of fact I do. I met a maiden and I'm going to ask her to marry me." I said this with a bit of fear. "A maiden? Well does she make you happy?" "The happiest" I replied. "Well then as the all father you have my blessing." I was a bit taken back by this. Odin had always favored thor. "I have one request though. I would like you to bring her to our family dinner tonight so we can all meet her." "Of course father, thank you." I then turned to leave and speak with my mother about y/n. It was odd of me to tell father this before mother but it felt nice to finally be able to talk to him about these things.
