Harry Styles
The squeak of my converse meeting the grand marble floor, the crisp clean smell of a bank, the cold air hitting my back as I entered escaping the exhaustingly warm summer day. The eyes tracking me as I walk, I mean who could blame them have you seen me? This is one of my favorite feelings.
No matter how many times I've done this I just can't get over the euphoria it gives me. At this point I don't even feel fear anymore, it's just pure excitement. I mean how could I be scared it's foolish at this point. What could go wrong now?
I step towards the large velvety ropes forming pathways. I run my hands across the rich fabric until I finally reach my destination. As I walk I lock eyes with one of the five tellers sitting behind the large glass. She had a high ponytail and glasses that perfectly framed her face, for someone who worked in a bank she sure was attractive.
Her high but professional voice spoke " How may I help you today?" she gives a soft smile. I slowly place my hands on the small counter separating us, time to turn on the charm. " Hello there darling, I'm here today to open my safe deposit box, there's something very important to me in there." I say leaning down and staring directly into her eyes. She looks a bit intimidated.
As I go to reach into my pocket I hear that Irish voice that I'd known anywhere pipe in "C'mon harry, no time to flirt get in there and get out." I really wish I could respond. I think the teller noticed my expression fall so I added a soft smile to ensure things go smoothly today.
She gives an awkward smile and turns over to her computer. " Alright" she says "And what is the number for the box you wish to open today?".
My hands start to sweat, my stomach drops. Dammit I've forgotten the number. She turns her head towards me when I don't respond. The one thing I needed to remember I didn't. "You fuckin' idiot, you didn't read the email did ya" that little twat, god I can hate Niall sometimes.
"Don't you worry, get that pretty little teller's number for me and I'll tell you the number" I hear through my earpiece. Right as I opened my mouth I heard another voice." Don't be an idiot Niall, Harry it's box 327" it was louis, at least he has some common sense as to not ruin the mission.
I look back at her and quickly say " 327" she starts typing something into her computer before saying " Ok Mr.Smith just hand over your key and then follow me." I reach into my pocket and grab the key handing it to her as quickly as I can.
She takes the key and quickly examines it. I give her a quick smile hoping it looks friendly. She gets out of her seat behind the glass and walks to a door to my left, I watch her as she motions for me to follow. She leads me down a dark hallway and stops in front of a large metal door. "Here we are." she says, giving me a weak smile. The safe. She opens the large metal door and walks inside. I gasp because that's a reaction the common person would have. I've been in my fair share of vaults but I will admit seeing the red carpet lining the floor was a first. She scans the walls before her eyes land on a box that was just above us. " There it is" she states the obvious. She pulls the box down and hands it to me along with my key.
She awkwardly moves towards the door when she suddenly stops and turns back.
What is she doing? Why is she not leaving? This has never happened, they always leave.
"What is your name again?"
My stomach drops. Why would she ask something like that? "Uh- smith."
"No, no your whole name sir"
Fuck. What do I say? After a few seconds her eyebrow perks up in a skeptical way. I cannot be the reason we get caught. God what do I do.
And just as she puts her hand on the knob to open the door I hear "Kevin" from my earpiece. Zayn. I would have to thank him later.
Before she can leave the room I quickly say "Kevin". Her face softens and she replies with a simple "Have a good day Kevin."
This is always my favorite part.
