I grab the tv remote and to record the rest of the episode. What can I say I wanted to watch the rest of the drama.

I make my way to the bathroom stopping in front of the mirror. My hair is in a very messy bun, my wild curls falling in various places on my head. I've never straightened it before in my life but it's moments like these that make me contemplate doing it.

I take a quick shower and go to pick out my outfit. Who am I kidding, go and pick out my uniform. Did I mention it was supposed to be my day off?

I grab a basic black suit, tie and all. We're trying to break gender stereotypes here people, get with the movement. I throw on my worn out converse with one pink colored string.

I grab my purse and make my way to the door.

*********

I'm still not used to the english traffic. It took me over an hour and a half to get to the office where if I had walked it would've taken a good 45 minutes.

I walk into headquarters stopping in the lobby to grab a cup of coffee before making my way to the elevator doors.

As I make my way to Doug's office I notice the stress level in everyone is higher than usual.I've passed at least 5 people who had scowls painted on their faces. Whatever is going on must be worse than I thought.

I finally reach his office and knock on the door he lets out his usual "come in".

I enter the room and jokingly say " You know I'm missing a new episode of The Real Housewives of Cheshire for this so I really hope it's important" He doesn't seem amused by my comment.

"Alright no jokes today got it" I say forming my mouth into a line.

"Agent Thompson please have a seat" he says while motioning towards the chairs in front of his desk.

"Agent Turner can you please tell me what's going on you know how much I hate being in the dark with things like this."I say sounding more concerned than I meant to.

"Agent Thompson I don't really know where to start but I really need you to listen. There was a robbery yesterday at Barclay."

"Yeah I saw that on the news" I'm still trying to figure out what makes that so important.Normally a robbery like that goes to the police and not the CIA.

"And we got a sketch from a witness, but we aren't sure if it's enough to find whomever committed the robbery."

"Ok but what does this have to do with the Robin Hood case.." I say trying to get him to clarify.

"There was a card left at the scene, an ace of spades. I'm guessing you know the significance of that?"he has a curious look on his face as if waiting for some kind of an indication that I do in fact know what he's talking about.

" An ace of spades... an ace of spades..." I say thinking out loud before I suddenly realize,"A SKETCH.OF ROBIN HOOD.THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING" I'm almost yelling at point. This news was better than I expected definitely worth coming to work on my day off.

"Agent Thompson I understand your excitement but I need you to calm down. It's not a full sketch." he says with the same flat expression held on his face.

"Not a full sketch? What is that supposed to mean." The expression on my face not even beginning to express how disappointed I am.

"Yes I know you might be confused, but I need you to file and save it, for all we know it could help in the future."He reaches into a drawer on his desk retrieving a folder and handing it to me.I take the folder and flip it open. I'm a little disappointed when all that's in it is a simple sketch of a cross on a hand.

It's a pretty detailed drawing at least its of a whole hand and not just a little cross. The main thing that I can't stop looking at is the ring. When it comes down to it jewelry is more distinctive than a small tattoo. I'm going to need more time to really dissect the photo.

"Yes sir I understand. I'll be in my office if you need me." I say while I make my way to exit the room.

As I'm walking through the door I let out a sing -songy "It was supposed to be my day off".

But before he can respond I shut the door and make my way to my office.

Hey I just wanted to leave a note that someone did draw that hand and I in no way take credit for it. If you recognize it as yours or know the artist please let me know and I will be more than happy to credit them. Stay safe :)
