Jade Thompson.
I'm sitting on my couch watching The Real Housewives of Cheshire. I don't really enjoy watching it but it's something to do at least.Honestly I just sit here and make fun of their posh life styles and how bratty they can be sometimes. I mean could you imagine living in a multi million dollar mansion but complaining because your salad has tomatoes in it. God it's hilarious.
I'm in the middle of absolutely dying from the drama I'm watching when I feel a slight buzz on my thigh. I pick up my phone. Slowly moving across the screen reads Detective Turner.Its my boss.My thumb stalls on the red button before moving over to answer the call. I would rather miss an episode of The Real Housewives of Cheshire then lose my job.
" Hello" I greet. Honestly I hope this call is short.I'd like to get back to the drama and the peace of my day off.
" Hi yes, Agent Thompson, we need you to come in today". God that is the last thing I wanted him to say.I really can't escape work. At this point I should just move into my office.
"You know as much as I would love to it is my day off Doug, the day off I've been requesting for months." I hope he gets the message that I have absolutely no intention of going to work today.
"I know but it's urgent" Thats never good to hear.I know if he says anything like that he really means it.
" I really think that all of you can survive without me for one day"I let out a soft laugh trying to be friendly.
" I completely understand Jade, I promise you will get your day off" He sounds exhausted. That might've been the wrong thing to say.
" Yeah sure when? Also what happened to calling me 'Agent Thompson' " I say mocking his accent slightly
"Your off the clock jade, plus you did call me Doug '' he laughs slightly as well. He might be my boss but we've really been growing closer, he's kind of been a father figure of sorts to me ever since I got here.
" Alright well if I'm going to come in can I at least know why I'm needed today?"
He takes a deep breath before answering. "It's uh- its the Robin hood case"
My jaw drops to the floor " THE robin hood case as in the case that brought me here?"
" Yes detective Thompson that case, listen this really is urgent I'll fill you in more when you arrive at headquarters, I will see you soon."
"Alright I'll be in as soon as possible" I hear the line go dead. I bring my phone down from my ear. I'm still in complete shock.It takes me a moment to come back to my senses. I need to get there as soon as possible.

I'll be updating tomorrow so look out for that.I felt kinda bad that this chapter was so short so I'm giving ya'll the chapter tomorrow, I hope that makes up for it :)
