Ch20: Explained Fear

Delirious POV

We were all still frozen even after given instructions of what to do by marcel.

'She was actually hiding something- Something that can kill us!!! No wonder marcel is scared of her when she's pissed!'

I then noticed she fainted and decided to take action.

"You heard him, lets go! We shouldn't make a scene, an no one say a word." I said," if this was hidden for a reason then maybe we should hear out that reason before freaking out."

"Thanks del." Evan said

I nodded a bit and then started snapping the others out of their shock. We ran off to the dorm as help had arrived but ignored them.

Once at our building we looked at each other, all of them seeming perplexed.

"Dude SHES A SHEPHERD!!!" Luke freaked

"She's a fucking killing machine- SHES A BLOOD DOG!!" Wildcat freaked

"How was she able to hide that?! She could have actually killed us!!!" Lui freaked

"Guys..." Kryoz said gently

We looked at him an he looked a bit pale.

"She was ready to kill Saline." He said, fear coating his voice," sure she defended evan and backed us up but she was more than ready to kill her!"

The guys fell silent and I tried to calm them.

"She had every right to, saline poisoned her AND was choking her!" I said," it was only fair Y/N returned the same evil but she had to expose herself in order to live."

"Delirious is right, saline poisoned her which is a literal state felony!" Brian said," she tried to kill Y/N first so we shouldn't be so shocked at Y/N returning the action."

We got on the elevator an went to marcels dorm first before we even continued. But they all still seemed shocked.

I then realized she was the last of her hybrid.

"Guys, she's the last of her hybrid- of her whole kind!" I said," she's the only one left- it should have been obvious why she was hiding it!"

"Yeah but...her kind are known for being aggressive, more aggressive than dinosaurs! Extremely dangerous dogs that can kill a bear!" Nogla said

"They were also killed for their fur, teeth, eyes, tails, meat, and for all the guarding jobs they were forced into." I said

They seemed a bit sad to have remembered that part. That was during the time hybrids an humans were still uneven an when hybrids didn't have rights like we do now.

"They're not all bad." Brian said," they're actually sweet and playful, they just look threatening and yeah they are powerful enough to kill a bear but they're not really bad."

I looked at him an he didn't look too scared of this. He seemed pretty calm about it really.

"Why aren't you freaking out like them?" I asked

He smiled a bit an leaned on the wall.

"I was saved by one." He said," a woman risked her hybrid to save me but was immediately kidnapped after being exposed."

He looked at the others an gave them a determined look.

"Y/N isn't some evil hybrid just cause of what her kind is known for, she's still the same bitch with a sassy an grouchy attitude but cooks us great food cause we're too lazy to make our own." He said," its fair for her to hide herself because her kind are taken immediately after exposure."
