Ch29: Tension

Smitty POV

I glanced at Kryoz as we tried to rub off the blood from Y/Ns body, kryoz side glancing me as well.

We both see her chest, we both see the blood there.

'Would she be okay if we clean her there..?'

I don't think she knows it but there's tension here, wondering if she would let us touch that area of her to clean.

'If she did let us then its just a matter of getting to it first so I could do it..!'

I finished cleaning what was on the right side of her face as I then went to rub out some spots of her hair that were soaked in blood.

"Hey, Y/N what about your chest-"

"Just clean it, I don't care." She said, sounding bothered

I looked at Kryoz and we both knew we shouldn't do this to her.

"Whats wrong." I asked," somethings bothering you, we can see it."

She opened her eyes as she looked unsure.

"You two saw me at my worst...at my most raw and monstrous self..." She said, bothered and slightly scared

'Yeah but we still love you, you protected us.'

Kryoz gently made her look at him as he gave her a smile.

"You literally risked your life and your safety for me and smitty!" Kryoz smiled," you protected us even if it costed a few lives of some very bad guys!"

I cleaned the sponge in the tub water as I cleaned off some more blood from her arm.

"You aren't a monster for protecting the people you care about in a panicked way." I added," you were scared to lose us, I saw the fear in your eyes when they were handling Kryoz."

She didn't look any different but she sighed as she tried to give it less thought.

"Yeah.." She mumbled

I didn't like seeing her so bothered and insecure. I cleaned the sponge in the water and then got up.

"We'll let you shower and clean the rest yourself, we don't wanna make you uncomfortable after all." I said

Kryoz got up an nodded.

"We'll be waiting in the living room, watch some movies and relax the rest of the day!" Kryoz suggested

She stood up but still didn't say a word. I looked at kryoz an he motioned for me to head out.

"We still trust you." I said before leaving

I headed out as kryoz followed. He closed the door as we were out and then we went to the living room. I sighed as I really hope this didn't make her feel worse. 

"Maaan, today was supposed to cheer her up not make things worse..!" Kryoz complained

"We did our best, and we still will." I replied," her happiness is still our priority, right!"

"Yeah!" Kryoz agreed, sighing," I just wish we came back home in a better way..she's so strong and amazing and protective- she doesn't deserve to be so sad or scared or-or...insecure."

I sat down and sighed.

"Well then I guess we'll just also prioritize making sure she see's herself as no monster." I smiled," Lets help her view herself the way we see her.."

"As a beautiful, strong, generous and amazing girl." Kryoz sighed happily

We heard a door open and looked down the hall, Y/N stepping out quietly. Her eyes filled with tears as her skin seemed a bit damp or wet.
