Next day
Sunghoon's POV
I went inside the stadium where Hyerin and the other skaters would compete in a bit. Wearing the blue coloured t-shirt which was for all Hyerin supporters I went to see my girlfriend and wish her good luck. To my surprise the green room was empty. "Where is she?" I said out as Jake abruptly pulled me to face him and panted.
"S-she didn't come yet Sunghoon." He tried breathing but seemed like he was running a lot. I made an annoyed look at the guy. "What? Stop lying Jake." I said out walking away leaving him behind as I saw the first performance getting announced while Seohyun entered the rink and started her performance.
My eyes looked everywhere hoping to see Hyerin but I couldn't find her. I peeked through the hallway but it was empty. Seeing Grandpa Lee walking with a smile, I thought he'd know where his grand daughter is. "Ahh sir do you know where Hyerin is?" His expression changed seeing me. "Park Sunghoon?" I nodded as he sighed and shook his head. "She must be in the greenroom."
But she isn't.
My heart started beating rapidly as the older man left the place as he got a call from work. I kept all my things away and started searching for her. Calling her, I found out that her phone had been switched off. Biting my lips I ran up the stairs and then down again and again but the girl was nowhere.
"I'm sure she must have come. She's just in the washroom. Yea in the washroom." I pacified myself like that as I saw Mrs. Lee rushing through her steps and going through all the classrooms. She noticed me and came running. "Sunghoon-ah! Did you see Hyerin?!" Oh no. Shaking my head I tried calming her. "Where did that girl go?! Dad will kill her if she misses the competition." She worriedly breathed and held her forehead as I started sweating.
"Please you're just running late right Hyerin?" I muttered to myself running outside the school. Bringing my phone out I called Jay, Jake and Heeseung as well. "I can't find her anywhere." After telling all 3 of them to search their best for the girl I leaned against a wall catching my breathe.
Where did you go Lee Hyerin?
She wouldn't miss the match unless it's something important. I heard the announcer shout out the next performer as we got closer to Hyerin's performance. But she wasn't here yet. On my way to her house I took big steps and ran as fast as I could. She couldn't possibly miss this. It was so important for her. Knocking on the door, it opened to reveal a sleepy Ryun as I bit my lips.
"Is Hyerin home?" She shook her head yawning as I impatiently let out a sigh and ran to the cafe she worked at. But there was no one that I'd say was Hyerin. "Did Hyerin come here today?" Her co workers gave me the same answer as everyone. They didn't see her. I called her for about twenty times by now but her phone was still switched off.
