READ THIS A/ n I'm writing this seconds after I posted the first 2 chapters of the book xD shows you how long I wait to publish:P anyway, I have trouble picturing Bailey as a dirty blonde/ redhead with grey eyes, for some reason I keep thinking of her as having chocolate- brown hair with green eyes... Rrr... So I'm gonna add a character like that. Any suggestions on what house she should be in? + her age? Other stuff like that, other details needed. CONTEST TIME I also want u to make up a character, any house, any age, any gender, bla, bla, bla. I will chose at least one, or at least 3 if this story is popular. Remember, I just published ch. 1 + 2!

Ch. 13

The poster

~*~*~*~

I yawned as I sat up, stretching my arms and squinting in the light filtering through the curtains of my four- poster bed. I had gone up to bed not long after my lion stunt, that kind of magic could really wear you out.

I stood up, looked around, and stepped towards Rose's bed. She was still asleep. Good.

It was still around 6 am, that meant that I would have time to complete my master prank. Muahahahaha.

Or at least think of one...

I sat at the foot of my bed, using my trunk as a sort of desk. I noisily pulled out a piece of parchment, and Delia shifted in her sleep. I cringed at how I had almost woken her up. 'Shh, Bailey,' I mentally chided myself,'she'll blab to Rose before you could say 'petrificus totalus'.'

I scribbled a quick sketch of what I would put around Rose's bed. I maniacally laughed, eager to put my sinister plan into action.

"'Tcha doin?" "GAH! Oh... Oh, Amani, it's just you." I said, after jumping 5 feet into the air when I heard the other jokester in my class, Amani Ellis, from right next to my ear. She giggled and awkwardly held her hand inside of her robes... Like she was hiding something.

"Eh, last- minute work on a report." I lied,"You know how school can get." She rocked back and forth on her heels. Before she could turn and leave, I asked,"Hey, 'Mani, why are you up at six in the morning?"

She looked desperate for an excuse for just a moment before regaining a cool composure and taking advantage of her British accent by saying,"Oh, I'm simply off to commit the usual shenanigans and Tom- foolery. Ta- ta!" She was about to skip out of the room, but I can detect any lie, no matter how good, so I stepped in front of her and gave her a questioning face.

"No, what are you really doing."

She sighed and pulled me into her magical closet, which looked like a miniature closet for storing a midget's items, but once we stepped inside I was evident that you could fit a midget's house in here. Full walk- in closets, yeah baby. She muttered a charm to make the room soundproof, and sighed again, before pulling a golden ball of fuzz and cuteness out of her robes.

"AWWIT'SAPUPPY!" I squealed in a way that only puppies can make you squeal. Yes, she was holding a baby golden retriever, but this one must've been bred by a wizard; its fur was actually gold, like, legit gold. It could've passed as real gold. It actually might've been...

"Shh!" Amani hissed, even though she had soundproofed the walls. "This is Tatyana, and..." She sighed, and told me the story of how Tatyana was a stray, and her parents couldn't keep her at their house, her mum was allergic to dogs, so she had brought her here. She explained that she already had an owl (who was pretty close to Wiggy, they were good friends) and how her acceptance letter had said an owl OR a cat OR a toad, nothing about dogs. She told me that she had put a small variation of the aging spell on her, to make her grow a bit slower; she should be up to my knees by then. I stroked Tatyana's head the whole time, slightly missing Scout, who was back at the Potter's house. He was hard to forget, he had been so sweet... And I had yet to find that fuzz- removing spell, so every article of clothing I owned was covered in little 'reminders' of him.
