Damn!! how long are these stairs did this guy made it or is it a trap to lure bandits or anything that isn't friendly to their doom?
Me: "Hey esdeath, I've got a question for you."
Esdeath: "What is it?" as I took a deep breath.
Me: "Why did you become y/n's general?"
First she stayed quiet, which I said it was fine if it reminded her of something. Then all of a sudden she stopped in front of me and turned around to face me.
Esdeath: "...Look I'm merely doing this so I can *mutters*." as she muttered something about the weak.
I want to know what she said, but at the same time I don't want to know what she said since cavaliere and if I'm correct what he said about her I should be careful what I say... or else it's over for me.
Me: "You know what forget what I asked that question and keep going." as she turned around and started walking down the stairs.
I better ask her questions when cavaliere or y/n is with me.
3rd Person Pov
Nina then sighed and continues to walk down the very long stairway.
After awhile they started to see a shadowy figure as they were getting closer to the ground. Once they were able to see the ground and noticed the shadowy figure was laying on the ground "sleeping" and saw a bunch of empty bottles labeled rum.
Nina (Jeez did this person drank this much... rum?!) While esdeath kicked the white hooded person away from the door.
Then she knocked on the door and they waited until someone would answer, meanwhile the person slowly sat up straight.
White hood: "HeY *hic* YOU tWo!" as esdeath & nina turned towards the white hooded person.
White hood: "WhIcH One *hic* OF yOu lassES-" as they fell back on the ground and passed out.
Then esdeath walked over to the person and dragged them back to the door only for the person to fall on the ground. Once she did that the door opened and to see...

Merchant: "Welcome, strangers." as he welcomes them into his shop and shut the door once nina & esdeath were in.
Esdeath was slightly amazed at how the merchant can run a underground shop, while looking around to find anything that would catch her attention. Nina on the other hand was looking for the two rubies to sell to the merchant. Then she walked towards esdeath and asked if she had the rubies, which esdeath pulled them out of her boobs.
Nina: "0_0"
Then she grabbed them and placed them on the counter and waited for the merchant. As she was waiting she was looking at some of the things that the merchant has.
Nina (He sure has some interesting things, but I really don't need anything else other than the pieces for the prototypes.)
Merchant: "So, what can I do for you stranger?"
Nina handed the merchant a list of parts for their prototypes and while questioning how he got behind the counter without her knowing. As the merchant was looking at the list, nina noticed two doors in the back and another one further away from the other two doors.
Nina: "Whats behind all three doors, if you don't mind telling me."
The merchant said the two doors that are in the back is a huge bedroom and a elevator entrance. Then the door that's further away is where he stores about anything that can be sold to others like her rubies, gold, sliver, or anything that he thinks has value to sell.
Nina was going to ask another question, but was interrupted with the elevator door opening and grievous carrying a knocked out issei & a short female carrying a bag that's twice her size along with a magnaguard by her side.

Nina: "Why do you-"
Merchant: "The little one, well... it's a story for another time stranger." as he started looking around for the pieces from nina's list.
While the merchant was still looking for the pieces, grievous opened the door that esdeath & nina came through and threw issei out the door. Esdeath walked up to grievous and asked what's he going to do with that person.
Grievous: "Doesn't it matter and besides I was planning to break his mind with... some 'stuff'." then he walked over to the short female and whispered something to her.
Grievous (whispering): "Mozu *coughs* are you still doing okay after *coughs* we rescued you from your village?" while covering his mouth everytime he coughed and mozu just nodded.
Grievous (whispering): "You sure now because I'm willing to hear what you have on your mind and give you a second magnaguard."
Mozu (whispering): "No, I-I-I'm fine and one of those robots is good enough." as she managed to fake a smile, which somehow worked on grievous and esdeath noticed that happened.
Then grievous gave mozu a head-pat and walked out the same entrance that nina & esdeath came in from. Then mozu started walking to the further away door and put down her bag.
Esdeath (Uh, why did she fake that smile?) as she continued to look around.
The merchant came back with all of the parts from nina's list and had the parts in a crate without its top. Nina gave the merchant the two rubies, which the merchant took right away, and asked if they need anything else.
Nina: "No, that will be it."
Merchant: "Alright stranger, you can take the elevator back up and come back any time." as esdeath & nina went towards the elevator with esdeath pushing the crate into the elevator.
A/n: And done.
A/n: I'm just curious If ruby wasn't a choice for ted to date then who would you see ted dating?
