A badly written Kalbedo fanfiction

𝚃𝚑𝚢 𝙵𝚒𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚎 | 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 𝚇𝙸𝙸𝙸

Albedo's recovery was a slower one than the usual ones Barbara had to deal with.. But she was up for it. She wanted to help him, and she did. Every day she would use her power to help Albedo until he was finally in a good enough state to take care of himself. Throughout his whole recovery, Kaeya would visit him at the Cathedral quite often and bring him little gifts. He wanted to spend as much time as he could with him... He wasn't the same though, there was something troubling him.. Kaeya decided it'd be best for him not to ask until he was ready to share. 

Albedo never really returned to doing his job.. He just stayed with Kaeya all day until he finally decided to speak to Jean about it..  The knights were forgiving towards him. They always wanted to assure Albedo that they understood it wasn't him in control and that he was always welcome back. There were no hard feelings against him from the knights but he still felt bad. As if he had disgraced his title and he could no longer bare live with it after what he had done... 

So he left the Knights of Favonius. 

His position was left for our fair maiden, young Alchemist, Sucrose, who gladly took it, without a further conversation with the ex-Chief Alchemist. She was a bit scared of him now, not wanting to mess with him or his boyfriend... She simply took the job and got herself back into her research as the new Chief Alchemist.

~ A few days before talking to Jean - Kaeya's office ~

"So you want to leave?"

"Yes-"

"But why?"

"I just feel like my time here is done.. And after what happened I don't know if I can ever move past that if I remain here.. That's not what I came to talk about to I wanted to ask-"

"But your alchemy.. How will you go about doing that? And Klee? And Mondstadt? Where will you live? What about me-"

Kaeya slouched dramatically on his chair, looking at Albedo - well aware of what he was gonna say just wanting to tease him - 

"Let me finishhhhhhhhh... I came here to ask if you'd like to come with me. I know it's a lot to ask but likeee"

"Leave Mondstadt?"

"Yeah... It's fine if not I'll just visit-"

"You see, I was actually thinking about this the other day.. I'd honestly love to. There's not much here anyway and I think it'd be great to be able to see the world with you"

 Albedo looked at Kaeya, he wasn't expecting him to agree to quickly.. 

"You're sure? What about your position?"

"You're worth more than any rank could ever be worth to me..  As long as I'm with you, none of that matters"

Alas, They went and spoke to Jean, and an odd suggestion came up.. They should take Klee with them. Klee was obviously much happier with Albedo than with anyone else in the knights, so they decided to take her with them. She agreed quite enthusiastically, wanting to explore all over the world and have all-new adventures with the two. Their life from then on became a new adventure and the tale of The Sword's Curse became a common tale of Mondstadt. From time to time, Kaeya and Albedo would visit their friends in Mondstadt and bring them gifts from their travels, although ultimately settling down near Liyue. It was the happiest both of the two had ever been.. A decision they would never regret. Although from time to time the memories would haunt them, they were able to take care of it quite easily and lived their lives happily together raising Klee. 

As for Mondstadt things only went up from there, the damage was fixed quite effectively, and Mondstadt became stronger than it had ever been. As for our maid friend Noelle, she finally became a knight after some other knights recommended her. Lisa continued her job as a librarian, writing letters to Kaeya and Albedo and sending them books and stuff to read quite often,, Jean would always ask about Klee and offer them a place to stay when they visited, and Diluc would treat them to drinks when they came over.

Life returned to normal for some..

And life became a new normal for others.

But in the end, they lived on with their lives happily.

Kaeya and Albedo as a couple of dads raising an arsonist child :)
