"While figuring out Jeremy's hunter marks, he was coming to me in visions. Sometimes in my sleep, sometimes in the middle of class. And now suddenly he doesn't want me in his way?"
Danielle was laying down in Alecia's couch holding a cup of medicinal tea. She spent the last few weeks here in her cabin in New Orleans. Lately, she was falling in and out of sleep. This was the first time she's been fully conscious.
Kara stopped by to check on her while on her search for Mia. Danielle needed someone to take care of her, seeing as her sister had forgotten her. Alecia didn't mind watching over her again. However, Kara was now indebted to her, which she was dissatisfied about.
"He desperately needed a witch to awake them and complete the ritual. When he realized you wouldn't cave in to his threats, you were more of a burden than of help," Alecia concluded, "so he tried to kill you."
"But why?"
"You said the spirits were scared of you?" Alecia asked and Danielle nodded, "then.. maybe Silas is too. You know you have power, Danielle. You just don't know how to use it."
"What do I do now then? Because he's still on the loose and I'm worried about Bonnie and what she's gonna do."
"Nothing. You will do nothing," Alecia sighed, "Silas wants you dead. Until we figure out how to over power him, you're staying here with me."

Three weeks had passed since Mia's trip to New Orleans, which was also three weeks since she saw Klaus Mikaelson.
Graduation was in a few days and it sent everyone– at school– into a chaos as they tried to scramble to save their grades. Rebekah was under Mia's care. They lived together at Rebekah's house, went to school everyday, and hung out at the Grill to do homework, but it was only so Rebekah can try to talk to Matt.
Mia was on her best behavior after her experience with Elijah. She didn't want to be sent back into purgatory, so she followed whatever Rebekah told her to without needing compulsion.
Klaus didn't call or text. He didn't drop by for visits and he never bothered to. Turning in the cure to Silas freed him from Mystic Falls. There was no reason to come back. It was only Elijah who asked for Mia's status update, other than that, it was like Klaus left her.
She tried not to think about it too often. However, during those silent moments in her head, the thought of him lingered. It was even happening now while she was at the Grill with Rebekah and Matt.
"I see you compelled the bartenders," Matt rolled his eyes and leaned against the counter when he walked by.
"We're celebrating," Rebekah sighed, "Nik and Elijah have run off to New Orleans chasing god-knows-what."
