Raijin shook his head "nope I'm taking a mission on the day" Rai denied as I shook my head at him "you're not going anywhere" I declined Rai sulked in a corner "nope. no way I'm going to that ball count me out pops" Manami shook her head "why is that?" I raised a brow "it'll be fun sweaty" Juvia tried to convince her "no! the people there are always talking about what lovely expensive gifts they got or tea parties they basically just flaunt their money in front of my face!" she threw her arms in the air "those people act as if I'm below them or something and don't even get me started on the boys they're so..." she made a disgusted face "well it's not like we're just ordinary people with your mother's side being from royal descend" Hunter pointed out "exactly I can take their place out from right under their noses but you don't see me flaunting my heritage in public" I sighed pinching the bridge of my nose "all of the guilds have been invited" Juvia said Manami groaned throwing her head back.

Raijin asks looking over at her "unfortunately older brother" she held out a piece of gum to him "thanks baby sis" he ruffled her hair she simply blew a bubble deadpanning at Raijin why is it harder to deal with Manami now that she's almost a teen?.
"Why are you wearing that?" I ask referring to her normal choice of clothes "I don't want to wear a dress" she replied seeming to not be uninterested in life "you are not going like that young lady!" Juvia pointed to Manami's clothes "but I don't want to wear whatever blondie chooses!" Manami protested as Juvia dragged her towards a room "I'm still recovering from the last time she picked out my dress" both of them visibly shivered "no excuses Manami" Juvia said as I sweatdropped "nooooo! onii-chan save me!" she cried stretching her arms out to us sniffling.

Opening the door I found the other girls bustling about changing into their dresses "Juvia! Manami!" Lucy waved at us both happily making her way in our general direction Manami hid behind me she really hates Lucy's choice of clothing I sweatdropped "I can help-" "no way in hell woman!" Manami pushed Lucy away from her "I'm out" she walked towards the door "how about your mother and I pick one out for you?" Lisanna asks earning a happy reaction from Manami who's eyes sparkled oh boy!

Manami opened the curtains stepping out "this is not half bad" she says looking up at us "um..." Lisanna, Yukino, Minerva, Erza and I grabbed her pushing her to a stool "you're going to look great after this" we say in unison.
Erza pushed the doors open Manami trailing behind us grumbling "you look beautiful Manami" Yukino reassured her walking beside Mana "yes quite the beauty" Minerva added "I'm sure Hikari won't be able to keep his eyes off you" Erza said walking into the lively room "please stop grumbling sweaty" I say smiling at her as she straightened up suddenly "Hunter!" Manami hugged the grey exceed "Oh you're so adorable" she pressed her cheeks against his cooing him "so you finally managed to get her to wear one?" Laxus asks "yes Manami was very picky with her choices" I replied remembering her criticism of every one of the dresses given to her (especially Lucy's choices) "you're also here?" Layla asks (Lucy and Gray's daughter) crossing her arms "yeah of course I am you brat" Manami glared down at Layla who looked mad to say the least "how dare you-" "I dare so what you going to do about it brat?" Manami taunted her "I'm telling my daddy" Layla stormed off "you go do that I'll be right here waiting" Manami popped a piece of gum in her mouth does she have to do that every time?.
Raijin looked up from his food at Manami "what are you wearing?!" he choked on his drink "a dress" Manami replied not at all fazed Rai looked horrified before his eyes fell on Hikari standing behind Manami oh boy... I sweatdropped "you look so beautiful Manami" Hikari smiled at her "please don't..." he held out a bunch of roses where did he get those from? I did a double-take "I spoke too soon..." she muttered you can say that again.
Yuho
I stared at the room amazed at how big and beautiful it looked before my eyes landed on a woman the beautiful girl! my face brightened as I made my way to her "Hikari" she held onto a white-haired boy from the back who's that boy?! As the two of them fell back onto the table, I asked myself, breaking it most likely with how it crashed down with the two on top.
"Hikari you're heavy get o-kyaa!" she screamed slapping Hikari across the face before pushing him off "I'm sorry" Hikari apologised "it's fine" she stood up helping Hikari up why are they so close to each other? I bit my nails.
The two stared down at their clothes with food all over it "this is..." Hikari started "...annoying" Manami finished picking at the food "hey! why are you so close to my sister Dragneel?!" a blonde asks walking over to them grabbing Hikari's shirt "isn't that what started all this?" a grey exceed asks landing in Manami's arms "Rai! let go of Hikari!" Manami yelled holding the guy's arm back trying to stop him "shut up!" Rai elbowed Manami on her nose as she stumbled back.
I rushed to her side without thinking along with Hikari who crouched in front of her forcefully pulling her face up towards him "Manami you're nose is bleeding!" Hikari panicked "you idiot stop acting like I'm bleeding to death" Manami said sternly to a sobbing Hikari "let me see" Rai pulled her face towards him "Manami" a blue-haired woman ran towards Manami sobbing hugging her "mom I'm fine it's just a nosebleed please stop crying"
Manami walked around the place with a tissue in her nose "would you stop crying?" she looked down at a sobbing Hikari "look she's fine isn't she Hikari?" his mother asks attempting to calm him down his father still rubbing his back "if I give you a hug will you stop?" Hikari calmed down staring up at her considering he was shorter than her.
Sighing she opened her arms, which Hikari ran into sobbing, Manami rubbed his white hair a small smile on her face.
Mom walked up to Manami with dad dragging me towards her "how are you feeling now?" mom asks "better" she replied "thank you for the tissue Rogue-kun" Manami beamed up at dad beautiful... I stared at her with wide eyes "get five feet away from me right now you creep" Manami seemed disgusted pushing me away creep? she called me a creep tears brimmed my eyes "sorry about that he got a tad bit excited" dad patted my head "ah right sorry guess I got carried away" Manami rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly "anyways this our son Yuho he's a bit shy" mom patted my back "that brings back memories" she said as mom and dad nodded "well see you two around" I looked up from moms shoulder at Manami "bye Yuho" she smiled raising a hand before running off towards her parents.
