5 - What's Wrong?

        A week had passed since the incident on the first day of training. Funny, Rose thought, that Jennie really hadn't kicked her out yet. On that historical day, according to Sorn, after the trainees had left earlier, she had seen Jisoo making more coffee. The young girls hadn't told them why, though. But that was in the past. Now, Rose had to focus on training her hardest.

        Flipping her blonde hair behind her shoulder, Rose got back into position, ready to continue dancing to a song by one of EDEN Entertainment's artists, Snapping. Even if the CEO had a horrible attitude, the company's songs were still amazing. Then, she heard someone call her name. "Hey, Chae Young!"

        Yiren skipped closer, a broad smile on her face. " Do you and Lisa want to come with the rest of us for lunch? Sorn said we could go out!" Rose raised an eyebrow, not believing it. Didn't Sorn say Jennie was so strict about keeping to schedule, that it was safer to order delivery?

        " It's true." Said girl entered the room. Sorn grinned at Lisa and Rose and continued, "I got permission from Jisoo unnie! She said that the CEO wasn't in and that she could even go with us!"

        As this, Lisa was surprised too. " That seems too good to be true. I'll believe it when I hear it myself!" 

        " Well its true."

        All the trainees turned their heads towards the door, where Jisoo stood. The Vice - Chairperson was wearing more casual clothes today, consisting of a grey button-up cardigan, with a white shirt underneath it, along with a pair of bleached blue jeans and a pair of white sneakers, to give a 'typical library-going girl' look. But of course, the truth was far from that.

        " The CEO isn't in today, so I have permission to give you guys a little treat today. Would anyone like to go to a cafe?"

        Miyeon frowned. " But, just beacause the CEO is not here, if you haven't asked her, won't you get in trouble?" 

        Jisoo merely waved her off. " That's a small problem I can easily deal with, but thank you for caring. Anyway, is anyone not going?"

        The trainees looked around and at each other, no response needed after the days of tough training in the strict company.

        And they were off.

        " Thank you!"

        The kind waiter nodded. " Enjoy your food, ladies!" Passing out the knives and forks, Jisoo flashed an attractive smile at the younger females before her, and gestured for them to start the meal that was 'on her'. 

        They started eating, relishing in the absolutely amazing taste of the food that had been presented to them. To the foreigners of the group, the food of their various countries reminded them vaguely of their hometowns. 

        The silent yet contented atmosphere continued on for a while, until, halfway into the meal, Joy broke the silence. " So, anyway, why isn't the CEO here today?" 

        Jisoo only smiled mysteriously and shook her head, replying with " I'm glad you all are taking interest in your higher-ups, but I can't reveal that." Joy pouted and shoved another piece of fried chicken into her mouth, making Yiren giggle, amused.

        "I have something to ask too, actually." Sorn announced, twisting to face Rose who was sitting on her right. " How did you get the courage to talk to Jennie like that?" Hearing those words, Rose almost spat out her Grande caramel cocoa latte with 2 pumps of vanilla bean, half a pump of syrup, an extra round of whipped cream, and extra ice. With walnuts on the side.
