Another day, another routine.Rose was tired of it. Lisa had, visibly, gotten slightly better, but still was not in the best condition, always avoiding Jisoo. And the older had taken notice of it, opting to give the Thai girl space and not come to their practice room as often anymore. They still ran into her once or twice, but that was all.
Of course, as a result, they were left to deal with CEO Jennie and her antics alone. While Miyeon, Joy and Yiren were still as bothered, their goal to become an idol overpowered their fear. Rose wished that wasn't true, as she hated seeing them suffer. It was also the reason why Lisa refused to leave, too.
Speaking of which, their monthly analysis was in a week. Although they had finished learning the dance and lyrics, it still felt as if they weren't ready. But it was normal, wasn't it?
Lisa laid on the floor, tired from dancing until her feet fell off. Joy and Yiren were huddled in the corner, equally as exhausted. Miyeon had her face buried in the lyric sheet, pretending to go through the words, but actually falling asleep slowly.
Their actions were understandable, since they had spent the entire 3 weeks they were given practicing. Their bodies were close to shutting down, and their vocal cords were, metaphorically, fried. Rose knew they had to take care of themselves if they were going to do well, though. She clapped her hands to get everyone's attention. When all eyes were on her, she smiled reassuringly.
"Only five more days, guys! It's our first time, but lets stay strong and do well, okay? Me and Miyeon have already planned an outing to a restaurant after the assessment, we can do it!"
Miyeon nodded her head, confirming it. Hearing that they would get food, the rest cheered and got up after their short rest, ready to work again. Lisa gave Rose a thankful smile, and went off to join the rest.
The days passed quickly, and finally, the moment they had all been waiting for came. Nervously standing outside the room they were supposed to perform in, the five girls clung to each other, briefly going through the song. They were waiting for their turn as another group was currently dancing to 'Gee' by Girls Generation. None of them wanted to even peek in t take a tiny look, to scared to know what the criticism would be like.
Rose slipped in to sit next to Lisa, who she knew was nervous for a slightly different reason.
"Are you going to be okay performing in front of Jisoo?"
"I thought the question was going to be 'help me perform in front of Jennie!' "
The Australian chuckled and gazed forward. "No, I don' think I'll have a problem with that."
"Then I won't either. Oh, you'd better practice Jihyun sunbaenim's part."
The older rolled her eyes playfully, then lifted the lyric sheet up, knowing that Lisa was fine.
"Joy, Miyeon, Yiren, Rose, Lisa! Its your turn!"
Hearing the voice of Mr Yang, the five girls stepped up and walked briskly into the room. It was similar to their audition room, except maybe slightly more spacious to allow for more room to dance. The girls stood in the center, Rose's eyes immediately running over the people in front of them. Mr Yang, decked out in his usual workout clothes, and looking slightly bored? Jisoo, Lisa's ex(?) crush, as elegant as ever, even if she were only wearing a plaid jacket with white shirt and black pants underneath. Her eyes seemed to be going anywhere except Lisa, which was expected.
