5. getting to know each other

i wasn't gonna post three chapters and make you guys wait for the first actual convo between George and y/n, but I'm not cruel :)

Once I had put away my guitar I went back out of my room to the living room where George was waiting. He was on his phone but when he saw me, he smiled and turned it off. I took a seat next to him on the couch and the conversation started. Don't be socially awkward, don't be socially awkward

Y/n: so tell me about yourself!
George: well, hi I'm George
Y/n: hi George!
George: *laugh* i uh stream minecraft for a living
Y/n: knew that
George: niki and minx?
Y/n: yepp
George: so you should be the one starting!
Y/n: wow you are smarter then minx said you are
George: oh shut up
Y/n: well hi I'm y/n
George: hi y/n!
Y/n: I like to sing and um I sometimes stream too
George: oooh! We are both pretty similar
Y/n: we are!
George: also the thing I said earlier about um me not caring that minx and Niki were taking you for the day, I didn't mean at all
Y/n: oh
George: yeah, I actually cared a lot
Y/n: really?
George: mhm, I mean like y'know you're my dorm mate and all
Y/n: ah yes I see
George: I am also very sorry in advance if I disturb or wake you up because of my screaming at any given point
Y/n: you're good George

George and I started bonding over things, having debates over others but I'd say that we were pretty similar. He was also a really shy boy kinda similar to me. I could tell that we were gonna have a lot of fun together.

George and I decided to head off to sleep or do whatever we wanted to do after about three hours of talking. I decided to film and start editing a video for tomorrow's post. I posted every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. My videos would mostly be covers but sometimes I would make a video of stream highlights

The thing is that I had to do covers for now because I hadn't streamed in a while. One reason being that I just moved and another being that my two year long relationship with my well now ex girlfriend Lara, came to an end. The break up was mutual though. We both agreed that we were too busy with our lives that we hardly had time with each other. It had been about three months since the break up and we had both moved on with our lives. We chatted here and there but it was still very awkward. We had broken the news to the fans a month ago and they were all devastated. Probably more then we were which I found funny. I set up my camera and prepared myself for what I was gonna sing

It took me around two hours to film because I kept messing up either lyrics or the chords. Once I had all my footage, I started to edit. Good thing about my type of content was that there wasn't that much editing needed

Once I had finished editing, it was  already 1am. I contemplated on whether or not I should post the video now or when I wake up. Nahhh let them wait. I got changed into comfier clothing and went to sleep. Surprisingly I fell asleep pretty quickly. All that decorating and shit must've made me very tired dude

When I woke up again in the morning, the first thing I did was brush my teeth. When I got out of my room to head to the bathroom, George walked out of his room at the exact same time. We didn't even realise that the other had walked out until we bumped heads

Y/n: ow! Sorry!
George: you're good

George got up and helped me up too

Y/n: well morning
George: morning y/n!

We both walked towards the bathroom. Holy fuck this is awkward as shit

George: you can go first
Y/n: you sure?
George: mhm
Y/n: thanks Georgie

I laughed and did my business in the bathroom. When I got out of the bathroom and went to the kitchen, Ava was here. Doesn't she have her own fucking dorm? Why is she always at ours

Ava: hey
Y/n: hello

George went to use the bathroom and left me alone with this bitch

Ava: look I don't know who you are but don't even think about getting with George
Y/n: *laugh* alright buddy
Ava: seriously? "Alright"? Is that all you're going to say
Y/n: what do you want me to say? "Oh no I've been wanting to kiss George for sooo long", I just met the guy Ava
Ava: you're funny, you should hang out my friends and I
Y/n: that's a hard pass
Ava: I'm sorry?
Y/n: no, I don't want to hang out with your friends
Ava: I've never had someone say no to me before
Y/n: surprise, surprise
Ava: you can't say no to me! I always have things my way
Y/n: uh okay?

Just then George came back to the kitchen

George: what happened to Ava?
Ava: s-she said no to me
Y/n: is that a big issue..?
George: you've gotta get over the fact that not everything is going to go your way
Ava: *gasp* George! Why are you siding with this bitch?
Y/n: imma just go, you guys enjoy your couples thing

I bolted out of the room and knocked on minx and nikis door. Minx opened it and looked like she was about to shout but smiled when she saw me. I ran inside their dorm and slammed the door shut

Minx: the fuck happened?
Y/n: George and Ava are fighting
Niki: wait actually?
Y/n: yes?
Niki: I wanna listen!

Minx and Niki tip toed out of their room and placed their ears by our dorm room door. I just stood there looking at the faces they made. They were listening for about five minutes when they ran back to their dorm and shut the door

Y/n: so what happened?
Niki: George broke up with ava!
Minx: she was not happy about it
Y/n: no way
Minx: yes way bitch! You can finally shoot your shot
Y/n: minx!

There was knocking at the door, so niki went to get it. When she opened the door her smile dropped. Then Ava barged her way inside and scouted the room. When she saw me, she walked towards me and this bitch just slaps me. When I didn't have any reaction whatsoever, she looked super confused. When she went in to do it again, I caught her hand mid air and just looked at her with the most bored face

Y/n: what's your problem girl
