Running

I had to run faster, or they are going to catch me. I'm so tried of running, but I need out. I couldn't  be in my pack anymore. I'm not meant to be alpha. I couldn't be alpha, I couldn't.

Flashback

I was gay for one thing; therefor, I couldn't be with a girl. Secondly, wolves are not okay with anything remotely gay, hint's why I'm running. Lastly, I didn't just didn't what to be the alpha. So now because I was eighteen, I had a choice: Leave or Lead. If I l leave the pack I could get killed by the other lone wolves but if I stay I become Alpha and could get kill by some other wolves who want's power.  Neither is the best choice, either way I'm dead. I started pacing, and packing & unpacking. I stared down at me now full bag, P!nk's song 'Try' played on my Ipod and as I listen to it I made my mind up. I was going to leave at least I had chance.  I had a strong wolf and he was more than ready to leave.

I was going to try I walked into my father's office, to let him know. He has to give me two day's to run away and I hoped I could make it. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

      "Come in," My dad answered.

"D-dad, I'm g-going to leave and I a-ask you to g-give me m-my two day's to r-run," I told him. He looked sad, I wanted to go over and hug him, but I couldn't he would get mad and push me away, like he always did. He didn't like the fact that I was gay and he thought and I quote 'a winey, sissy, cry-baby, good for nothing excuse of a wolf" in his eye's.

       "I knew this was coming and I also knew that you would stutter like a baby. How you ever got such a strong wolf is a shock to me. I'm glad you are leaving cause then I won't have to live with the fact you are gay and a joke. Your brother should have got the alpha, not you." My farther couldn't have more disgusted in his life. "Also I'll let you go and I won't send any wolves after you and I'll give you money to leave but you have to stay at least a state way from this pack, understand?"

"Yes, I understand," I growled with hatred. I could wait to leave, this place made me sick.

     'Can we leave, yet, or at least take a bite of him?' My wolf asked.

'No, too both but I would love too' I answered him.

             "Good, here is the money now leave." With that said I left. I heard P!nk's 'The Great Escape' play before I ran and changed into my wolf letting him have control. Happy eighteenth birthday, to me.

Pretence

'Run faster, come on push we need to run we are almost three state away from the pack and if we make it there we can stop, there.' I told my wolf I have made him run three day's non-stop. I didn't want to run into any wolf's. My farther was known to lie and change his mind. Also I was worried about the fact that I hadn't ran into any lone wolf's.

   'Something isn't right.' My wolf said.

'I know, only a few more miles and we will be free.'

      I was freaked that there weren't any other wolves, even the non-werewolf kind weren't in the wood's. Maybe it's because I'm near California. wolves didn't go to California because  there weren't that many wood's for them and because of how 'odd' the people were. I personally think it's because California allowed gay marriage. But oh well, we have made it. My wolf drop down panting, I really over worked him. We needed rest, I changed form's and into my human not bothering to put on clothes I was to tried, I couldn't move. I used to much energy at least I had all my stuff.

   'I need sleep,' my poor wolf.

'Me too. Me too. Sorry I worked you so hard."

     'I needed it. It makes me stronger and we need to be stronger.'

'I wish I was as strong as you, I'm weak.'

   "You are not weak! You are a wolf and a strong one at that! An alpha no matter what.'

'Thank you.'

    'You don't have to thank me, it is the truth. I wish you could see it.' I was about to fall asleep right when I heard something running toward's me.

Jake's P.O.V. 

After practice, I wanted a run. I was on edge for some strange reason. My wolf  that  my family didn't know about wanted it. Jez didn't even know that I had a wolf and I wanted to keep it that in the dark. Witches haven't been able to change into animal's in hundreds of year's. I would be a science project to them and nothing more. I would tell Jez but I don't want anyone to over here us. I trust my sister with my whole heart, I mean I tell her everything. She even knew that I was gay!

    I changed into my black wolf and ran to our wood's. I ran without thinking about where I was going. I heard a blood turning scream and  I ran faster. No one hunted on my land but me. When I got to the spot I was shocked at what I saw. I saw a angry wolf standing over a very scared werewolf that was naked in human form. He looked so afraid and me being there didn't help the problem. He thinks I'm going to hurt him. The other wolf saw me and attacked me, or so he tought he was.
