Authors note from the future lol

Hey, please keep reading even if you think the first few chapters are shit, I promise they get better and I have great plans for this story! Love you guys :)

'Kella Andrews, come down to your fathers office immediately.'

A loud voice boomed from the integrated loudspeakers throughout the manor.

''Ugh!'' I sighed; I was just putting on my quidditch kit.

I finished getting changed and began my trek to fathers room. I walked out of my room, along the long corridor, down the 3 flights of stairs, took a left, took a right and arrived just in time. I knocked on the door and waited patiently outside, the summer morning glare of the sun pinched at my skin, leaving it pleasantly warm.

'Just in time my little warrior. Please come in, I must speak to you about something important.'

Father loves to call me his warrior, thats what my name means. Kella is a name from Ireland (our familys origin) meaning warrior or fighter, perfect for someone like me.

I stepped into his large cosy office and sat down on the grey leather sofa.

'I understand you are in the middle of preparing for your quidditch match this afternoon but me and mother have something we need to talk to you about.'

Mother emerges from the door I have just come from and sits opposite me on the other sofa. Her face looks slightly worried which is a strange occurrence as I dont usually see her without a large smile plastered across her face. I transfer my gaze from mother back to father as he gets up from his office chair and sits beside mother.

'Before I tell you the news you have to promise me something. Please dont get angry at your mother as this was my idea.'

My face droops as I look between them both and say, 'I promise-'

'You will transfer to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this new term and live out the rest of your school years there.'

'WHAT!'

For as long as I can remember Ive been at Lesters School of Quidditch and Flying and the thought of moving makes my blood boil. Before I move on, I guess Id better explain something about myself... My eyes change colour with emotions. I dont see it as anything other than a weakness, anyone can see what youre feeling if they work out what each colour represents and thats something that scares me.

'Please calm down dear, your eyes are turning an awful red.' My mother squeaked.

I glance into the mirror behind me and see my usual baby blues wiped, bright crimson ones replacing them. If you havent worked out already, red shows anger.

'How can I calm down, this is the worst news ever! Im never going to get a place on the Lester lions at this rate. All my lifes work destroyed for what!? What am I going to tell Lila!'

I begin hyperventilating and rethinking my whole life choices. Another thing thats been in my life from birth is quidditch. If Im feeling sad, happy, angry its always there to calm me down. Throughout my years at the best school for quidditch in the wizarding world Ive picked up all the skills needed to become the best quidditch player around.

'Youre one of the best quidditch players in the world, especially for your age, you mustnt worry! And about Lila Shes coming too! Her parents and I decided it would be best for you both to learn some new skills and witchcraft just in case anything ever happens. Hogwarts still has quidditch.'

Not being able to contain my anger any longer, I run out the office all the way back to my room. I aggressively throw on the rest of my clothes and run down to my safe spot. Our quidditch pitch. I swiftly scribble a note to my parents and leave it on the side.
